I've been busier than a two dicked dog.

trying to get this car cruise in, set up...
looks like we are gonna get a real nice turnout.
i hope it's not too hot.

it was so hot here last wed. that i noticed my neighboors dog was chasing a cat through my yard, and they were
both walking.

I hope this note finds you all healthy & happy, after all
what else is there?

had a flood in the house last night, looks like thousands in damage, toilet water line burst when we were not home
water removal company is here with big honkin fans and stuff. last night sounded like a airboat was arriving in the front room.

I wish it'd get a little hotter, i like it when the blacktop gets warm enough to allow you to leave footprints.

It's always been a C4 / ZR-1 Gathering, at least the last 6 years I've went. There is a whole flock of Grand Sports, and sometimes some Callaways, we would love to have more
C4's show. Many of our ZR-1 boys and girls also own other Corvette's.

Mornin..... what's Guru with you?

Well the day has arrived with a stormy flurrish.
The C4 / ZR1 Gathering is starting.
I had 5 Zr1 owners from, Idaho, 2 from South Dakota, Nebraska, and Missouri in the bar monday night for dinner drinks and conversation, on their caravan to
Bowling Green,Kentucky. James from Kansas arrived last night, and is spending the night at our house, this morning our small caravan, of James, Kansas, John, Iowa, driving in the rain this morning, Robert from O'fallon, Mo and myself will be making the trek starting at 11am. I hope these thunderstorms pass through quickly, thank god, i spent 10 hours detailing the car, for the rain goblins. I'll post a pic now and then from the "Gathering"
Any of you that has not attended the event, or been to 'Mecca" BG, Kentucky, should plan on goin next year.
wish me luck....

Okay, i am only posting this, as to help anyone else out there that decideds to be an idiot.
At our house we have woods and field, 4 acres, that we try and take care of, part is left to nature, the other part we mow and primp. We have large flower beds in a few different spots, with the ornamental grasses that grow 10 ft. tall.
i read on the net. that an easy way to get them ready for spring growth, is to burn them back, and boy do they burn back. looked like...hell's inferno, almost got my neighbors house along with mine...well, not really, but the field caught fire, and it was tense for a few minutes. A couple of guys stopped to help me try an put it out. One guy ran down to my garage and grabbed my gas leaf blower. It actually freaked me out at first, but the leaf blower actually worked, put the fire out and created a fire break.
glad he knew that little trick. so in case any of you peeps decide to play with matches, keep a hose shovel and leaf blower handy...now back to you're regularly scheduled threads.

The owner developer of the system was/ is a fighter pilot.
He was still active when he started the endeavor, and has had to fight through issue's with mfg. and the like.
He did not want to put a kit out there, that did not fit or would not work. The problem you have josh is that there is no other bolt on kit out there, that i know of.
Like i posted earlier, the owner Ron, is a stand up guy, and will back the product.
Two of his installer's i know personally and trust me their work is unquestioned in the ZR1 community.

Before any of you fellers take the plunge on a turbo, i wanted to tell you bout one of my ZR1 buddies, Ron Hansleman
has been working on a rear mounted turbo kit for the L98 and the LT5 Zr1, he has the prototype running, Ron was an Air force Colonel and does nothing half arsed.
Raptor is the name.... If any of you are going to the
C4/Zr1 gathering in BG Kentucky this year, he will have one of the cars there. Send me a note before you pull the trigger...here is a linky

Hmmm...first Vette, a long time ago, was a 64, dad said, take it back, or join the French Foriegn Legion,
owned it 2 days. LOL.
After that i've been in and out of em, had an 79, it was slow, and 84 it was slow, and 85 it was stolen, another 85.
and a 89 conv. bought the Zr1 in 2002.
I have modded it to the point that when i die, it is fast enough that the next old bastard wifey marries will be too skeeered to drive it.

the sound of the system is awesome, it will play so loud, you don't realize just how loud it is until yours ears start to bleed. it's really clean, actually overkill
i would probably only go with one sub, if i had it to do all over again, but thought i'd keep it all in balance so to speak.
