More fun to do it than look at it.

I've gotten my vette airborne, it was suprisingly smooth, felt like driving off a curb at speed. It doesn't take a whole lot because of the stiff suspension and short suspension travel.

The guy's technique's a little off.
You're supposed to blip the throttle bring the front wheels up a little, oops........well, it works on a bike anyway.

I noticed that too. Looks a little tentative with front patches comin' down first...

ABS can't read air. Fronts are free, rears are with drivetrain. Could be a problem.

That's an excellent way to snap an axle.

Yea, cars tend to land a little harder than bikes. Must be the aaaaaaaaaaa mass.

I've seen that a number of times offroad, guys get carried away rock crawling and are gassing it while the front end is bouncing up and down. One of those tires spinning freely at 50 mph comes down and hits some stationary rocks and *SNAP*.

Ah, I see.

I've only driven a couple of buggys at speed, all my off road racing was on 2 wheels. In a jump, you try to have a little throttle on at landing, trying to equal the wheel speed to the forward motion. Makes the landing easier on the equipment. Of course, you have to be very famliiar with whatever you're driving to do it right.

The blip I mentioned (for bikes in the air) will bring the front wheel up. And touching the rear brake will bring the front end down. You always want to land on the rear wheel.
Landing on the front wheel is a real pain, especially when the angle reduces the castor to 0.

What makes you think front wheel landing is a pain? I know someone who thinks the front wheel shouldn't LEAVE THE GROUND, regardless how high the jump is...

It would apply to any car, although not as much effect because the weight is so much bigger compared to the inertia of the rear wheels and everything else bolted to them.

We do that with our RC cars to control the pitch on jumps. At least until the 6th or 7th beer, then it's just up to gravity.
