Good Morning CGs!

Welcome to the workweek, everyone. I'm sure you're all excited to get going!

Got some work done on the house and the car this weekend. We've been looking at getting a shed for the backyard for the past year or so, just never pulled the trigger because the plastic ones are kinda pricey. So I was talking to my neighbor yesterday about the house/yard etc and he told me he wants to clean his up, starting with getting rid of the shed in his backyard. I said, "really, I'll take it if you're getting rid of it." He goes, ok, lets go move it. 20 minutes later it was disassembled from his yard and moved into mine. Now this shed is about $450 (rubbermaid) and maybe 2-3 years old. I think it's 6x8. The only thing I have to do is hose out the base from some dirt and seed that spilled. He didn't even want anything for it. I offered, he refused. Nice to have good neighbors like that. He said I was doing him a favor by getting it out...lol.

Congrats to Teebee on the new vette - check out yesterday's chat for some new pics.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

One mans trash is another mans treasure. All us C4 owners already know that.

Plenty of work to do. Never a shortage around here. Today I'll be repairing a pool leak, try to get the Porsches to the shop for an oil leak in one and A/C leak in the other. Meet up with my boat mechanic and see if he can hook me up on my carb issue. Looks like I'll be doing my part to stimulate the economy today.

Good Morning!

GeeWhiz, what a weekend. The baby was sick all weekend--- She had a high fever, no appetite at all, but we did keep her hydrated. She was just real fussy, and wanted someone to hold her 24/7. Wife says she's better this am, and fever is finally gone. This is the first time she's been sick since we pulled her out of daycare last March and my wife became a full time Mom...
Man, it just kills you to see your baby sick and feeling bad...

Got the pool opened, but had a problem with the damn valve on the filter. Damn thing was gushing water no matter what position the valve was on. Anyway, after a good soaking, I got it fixed so hopefully it's good to go for the season..

Now, to find that floating cooler I got last year...

Glad the baby is feeling better - makes for lots of anxiety!

Indeed, congrats to Teebee - great-looking new ride!

The yard work is getting under control - all the mulch is in, got some stuff transplated, divided the hostas, got the sprinkler system running, yada, yada, yada. I just need to fertilize and plant some new shrubs. And get to work on the car :-P

Good morning GG's. Yesterday I cleaned up around the yard. I got the wall prepped to put new sheet rock up. Now the hard part putting it up.

Congrats on teebeee and his new ride. Looks good.

Good to hear your baby is feeling better max. That is one thing I sure don't miss are the sleepless nights when kids were sick.

Looks like a rainy windy day here in the PNW. We had a storm cell move through on sat and had a tree get struck by lightning and fell on the power lines across the street. We didn't lose power though. I couldn't believe how stupid some people are. They kept wanting to drive over the downed lines instead of finding a way around. What proved my point more is that after the LEO showed up and had the road blocked they still wanted to try and drive over them. Just plane dumb. The lines weren't live but still they could have gotten caught on a vehicle and caused more damage.

For those of you who may have a Taco Delmar franchise tomorrow they are offering a 5lb burrito. If you can eat it in 30min you get $20 worth of gift certificates.

Thanks guys, I guess I need to change my username....maybe drop the 1994.

I am having a normal school day, trying to straighten out the crap that went wrong while I was gone on Friday.

Only 8 more days for my seniors, and 13 more for everyone else.

Good Morning Gurus!

Congrats on the new ride, Teebee. That's a beauty. Too bad it's filthy...

I have to get my Amigo to the shop and have the main seal replaced. Damn thing is leaking oil badly. Isuzus aren't necessarily known for being drip free vehicles, but mine is out of hand.

It also has an electrical issue where every once in awhile it will start right up, then stall. Starts up fine after that, and runs great, but a few idiot lights will stay on, and headlights will be dim until I get the revs up just before the 1-2 upshift. All good after that. And recently, the temp guage has started bouncing around intermittantly.

Battery is new. Antifreeze is fine, but I didn't think that would be the problem... Anyway, I'm no wrench, so it's going to the shop tomorrow.

Enough of that.

Enjoy the new week!

Teebee, I changed your username. Let me know if you want me to change it back, or make another change.

I was curious to see if I could make the change for you, so I took the liberty of checking into it. Too easy.

Good morning, Gurus!

Yay for babies getting better; yay for new cars; yay for new sheds! =) Sounds like it's gonna be a good week.

Andy's home, so yay for me. =)

I've gotta a mellow week with only a couple meetings which means I can crank out some documents that I need to get done.

Happy Monday!

Good Morning gurus! or should I say afternoon!

Tom...Tom...Tom..... I have nobody to comiserate with any more. Our cars were soul mates and twins. I guess I have to go out and buy a Mag Red C5!!

Nice Car, I know you'll love it. One of these days I'll break down and do the same. I have been looking hard at some used C6s but its still at least a year out for me.

Drag Races got rained out yesterday. That's a shame because it was going to be a great day planned. We may rain-date to Father's Day, but were a little afraid we might get low attendance on Father's Day.

Oh well, nothing between now and the car show on the 31st of this month. Bastet - no need to send more stuff

Take Care
Chat later

Oki doki, Don. Too bad the drags got rained out though! If you re-do the races, Fathers Day or otherwise, let me know if you want some swag to hand out. =)

Don, yes our cars were soul-mates, but sometimes you just have to move on. The big thing is, the wife is happy she can get in and out of this one much easier. I looked at a couple C6s, they were just too much more than I wanted to, or really could afford to, go.
