I LOVED that van. It was fast and powerful, held EVERYTHING, and because it was a mid engine it handled very well. Eventually it suffered a cracked block and because the van was so rare he couldn't get anyone to work on it for less than a fortune and he sold it for scrap. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgur ... Grand Imperial Pooh-Bah San Pedro, CA 20859 Posts Member since: 2005/9/7 0:00	Porsche did build a couple of prototype 911 powered VW Buses back in the early 80s. They were used for high speed desert testing, IIRC. They could do 125mph. I love the AMX prototypes. Dick Teague at his best.
