Good Morning CGs!

Well, it's Saturday so I hit the snooze button an extra round. Not as much traffic today so I'll be ok. Funny how hitting the snooze button seems to make such a big difference. Although I always seem to get done with my morning routine at almost exactly the same time regardless of whether I get up 10 minutes earlier or later. Weird.

We were gonna BBQ some fish last night but as it turns out the fish wasn't very fresh from the store. Opened the back and it reeked. I grilled it anyway but then couldn't bring myself to eat it. Ugh. We still ate the corn and potatoes and I had a hotdog to go along with it. Works out like that sometimes.

Supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow, but I hope it holds off. We'll see.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

It's way more fun that working on my house.

Been watching the D-Day ceremonies on TV all morning.

Gonna get all dolled-up for an expensive dinner on the Annapolis waterfront tonight.

More forced overtime tomorrow morning to make this my 6th one-day weekend in a row.

Have a great weekend guys.

Good Morning Gurus!

Nothing much to report, just checking in. Got a busy week ahead, so I'll enjoy the weekend.

Speaking of not-so-fresh fish, I got food poisoning once from salmon at Red Lobster. That was the worst I've ever felt. Took me almost a year after that to try salmon again. Not fun.

Enjoy YOUR fish, DreamRide!

Greetings! Man, I slept in royally today, still waiting for the first shot of caffeine to kick in. It's a balmy 50 and rainy here - bad day to be a global warming propaganda salesman. Not much on the agenda this weekend, just putzing with some more cleaning on the car, and installing some more sound deadener in the doors. Yesterday I ordered a tuned PCM from madtuner.com and some beam plates from ZFdoc, so they should be here in time for the engine reinstall.

Have a great weekend!

Good morning, Gurus!

Got to sleep in a bit without the cat yowling that she was hungry.

It's a bit gloomy right now, but I think it'll turn out to be a lovely day.

I'm making more ice cream today, and then later we're hopefully heading to a Walter Reed Hospital fundraiser.

I found what looks to be a nice Lincoln LS forum. Unfortunately you have to pay yearly dues. I'm not ready to commit to that, so I found a free site. Over there, nobody has replied to my "First Post Here" introduction, and everything I've posted has been completely ignored. Been over a week.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little bummed. Guess I'm doing something wrong over there. Thanks for pretending to be my friends, folks!

At least I feel like I'm part of the conversation over here. Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned my Ruby over there.

That sucks. Maybe guys don't work on their own cars as much with the LS? Don't worry, Chris, we'll give you answers to all your LS related questions. The answers may not be correct, but at least we'll respond

Well, we are at the wife's sisters house and they have internet....sort of. I got the upper cabinets installed, didn't do the base cabinets as the countertop didn't come in, so without the countertop they would be without a sink, and that just wouldn't do. Not sure when the dang thing is supposed to be in, so it will mean another trip to install the rest of the cabinets later.

I did take last evening to meet my two brothers at the drag strip in Great Bend. This is the strip that hosted the very first National Drags back in 1955. Any way last night was a "test and tune". We saw everything from an 18+ second 80's POS Buick to a 7.99 Camaro. Today they had a points event (whatever sanctioning organization they run). My little brother was supposed to test and tune his Harley "bobber" that he built, but had some problems and ended up not being able to run it.

This evening we are out at the SIL house, they are playing cards, me I'm trying to get my "fix"
