Good Morning CGs!

Well it's 6:30 and it already feels muggy. Ugh. I hope that's not an indication of how the day will be. It was pretty warm yesterday. Coolant temps on the car got up to 215 so I know summer's around the corner. Hasn't gone over 205 all year yet.

We have a 16 (or 17?) foot round above ground pool in the backyard. My wife has been hounding me about installing a fence around it, so I'm gonna try to stop by one of the pool stores today. I already got the price online. Lowest price with shipping and everything was $302. Some places wanted over $400 for the same exact thing. Pays to shop around. I know the pool store will be higher, but if they're willing to haggle.....well. It'll be swimming weather soon!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I thought most places you had to have a fence if you have a pool? All I know is that it is important to know someone who has a pool ;-)

Looks like golf will be a washout tonight - supposed to have rain and thunderstorms all day.

I tried out some stuff I forgot I had - this graphite spray is pretty cool stuff. I had read about someone coating their exhaust manifolds with it some time back. I cleaned up the balancer pulley and shot a coat on it, looks good - gonna do the same with the hub when I get the engine back:

Have a good day, all!

Good Morning Gurus!

Gonna try and knock out an edit before I have to go get mom at the airport.

After that, I just hope to keep things civil.

Enjoy the day, Gurus!

Good Morning Gurus..

Nasty, rainy day here. Had some big thunderboomers come through earlier...
We need the rain, so no complaints here..

Hope everybody has a good day!

Matt, are you talking about this kind of fence?
http://www.intheswim.com/Pool-Equipme ... -Pool-Fence-Kits-24-Inch/

I'm thinking of doing this with mine. Our's is similar to the one in the pic (where the deck is built around one section of the pool).

Good morning, Gurus!

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day today. I'm a little busier today than I thought - I was hoping for a mellow week to crank out some work, but alas, no, I don't think so.

Worked for 5 hours today makin deliveries. Came home and took a nap. Leaving for Easley SC on Thursday evening. Should have done this before going to Vegas. Excitement in Easley is Bingo, a free music jamboree and a buffet at Pizza Hut. It'll still be fun though. Get up a little into the hill country and hopefully escape some of this oppressive SoFlo heat. Record for today is 94' I believe we'll see 93'. We got outbid on the project house. Going to look at 2 more houses today. These are in much better shape for a just a little more money. Real estate down here is getting slammed big time. Good time to pick up a property or two.

Hi guys, busy day today, about to hit the weights. It's been pouring outside for hours.

Brad - I have a 6 ft privacy fence in the yard, but not a fence around the pool.

Dave - I just ordered the kit from this website - cheapest prices on the web, trust me I looked for a while. 13 sections cost me $302 shipped.

Figured its been a while but wanted to let you know that I am still here and kicking. In kansas right now doing training for another few weeks. Then I get a short break for vacation. When I do I am going to the poconos with the wife for a little R&R if you know what I mean. So anyway as allways training sucks. Dont get me wrong, we get some good traing but we are treated as polished turds. Our dining facility has got to be the worst in the army. Keeping this short as this is a chat but if you all want to send stuff over let me know and I can leave my address with a few of the mods. We allways like getting gift boxs. I will post from time to time and I do visit often its just that the net here is wireless and very slow.
