Good Morning CGs!

Well, got a good nights sleep last night. The baby went to sleep in her own room around 9:30 pm and she's just getting up now for a little bottle then she'll sleep a couple more hours. Didn't even wake up once, no crying, no fussing Funny, that's the same reason Tommy's wife won't let him sleep alone. He cries for his binky during the night and she hates having to go into the other room and give it to him :binky:

Tinkered with the vette a little last night. Looks like the reason my main fain doesn't come on with the a/c is the pressure is low due to my leak in the condenser. Wife was asking me about it, so I explained it to her. She said I should just fix it properly instead of band-aiding it, so I guess I'll get to do some parts ordering. New condenser, accumulator/drier, orifice tube, rings, oil, freon. My neighbor has a manifold gauge set and a pump I can use to evacuate the system. Can't be too hard, right? I'll find out.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Greetings! Driving in to work with the top off takes a lot of pain out of the commute. Looks like a nice week on tap, and a short one at that.

This should be an easy task for you due to your vast experience with orifices, oil, pumping and evacuation. And your right. It can never be too hard.

Haha. Just remember, Tommy, everything I know I learned from you. Got any Reese's?

Good Mornin'

Matt - I did the AC Condensor et al like you want to do. Only thing is I took it in for the evac and refill. It made a world of difference. I also think that replacing the A/C condensor at the same time as my radiator really made the engine temps a lot lower too.

I drove the Vette again today.. I can't get enough of it, but since its supposed to rain and T-Storm the rest of the week I thought I'd get my weekly ride in today.

Have a good day.
chat with you all later

Good Morning Gurus!

I think I got an hour of sleep last night.

One of my puppies ( who are bigger than my full-grown Dalmatian already) had a sick belly last night.

So I'm a zombie right now. But I have some work to do, so I'll try to get a few things done before I crash out.

Enjoy youmrrrr...... ZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Good Morning!

Short week on tap here, and I've got next Monday off too, so all is well! I think I left my motivator at home today though

Don't let your wife find it, she might not need you anymore.

Mornin' ya'll.
Got a lot of sanding done on the 79 yesterday. Man it takes it out of me these days, even with an A/C garage.
Thought I was gonna have to go all the way to the glass because of spider webbing in the paint, but it turns out that the last paint job was all that was cracking. The original is in good shape. It's all coming back to me now too, memory wise. I'll be able to tell any trouble spots with the first fog coat of primer. But that's a little down the road.
Tried catching up on the news this morning before I left for the shop but all they were showing is that MJ is still dead. Has anything else happened in the world in the last few days?

Morning Guys, I have very little planned for today. Deliver and setup a computer, spray a little lacquer on a fireplace mantle that I built, play with the grandsons....not too bad. Supposed to be hot again today, so I'll stay inside as much as possible.

If you sand thru the second paint job and those cracks go away, you're good. But, I'd double check to make sure that the spider webs are not into the origional gelcoat (usually they are). If they are, they will come back on the new paint.

hm... well... my dr is coming over and I had a suitcase fall on my head, on my way back from a ski trip, where I fell a couple of times. I don't think there is anything to it, tho... just a little head ache.

Otherwise, it's just off to work... yee-ha. oh, and I gotta clean up some cat puke.

They've gone away with the first coat and there's a good hard shell primer over the original coat so I'm hoping for the best. If I get any burn from the first fog primer coat I'll regroup and go to the glass. Hope I don't have to though. Kind of surprised me though, the top coat was a really bad job. Acts like there's no hardner in it, but the primer is quality. May have ran out of cash or tried to save money.
