Well, as the titles says, good news and bad news. Doesn't it always seem to go that way?

Well, if you recall I was having a loss of power steering, appeared to be bad fluid. Well the other day I saw a pool of something under the car. Turns out the power steering pump/rack/lines seem to be in good shape. That's the good news. The bad news is that the pool under the car is coolant caused by a bad water pump. Like I said in chat, if it weren't for bad luck, I'd have none at all.

Looks like I have a new project on my hands. Ugh. Might try to tackle it in the next couple days. We'll see.

Yeah, thanks guys. Such is life. Obviously you're not looking at a guy who's afraid to get his hands dirty. Just irritating. I'll take some pics

water pumps are a pain... take the extra time and clean everything first. It will make it easier to see and hold stuff. Time to get the Simple Green!!!

Well, pappy, in another strange turn of events it ended up being a heater hose that was leaking directly over the water pump making me think it was bad. I've still got a bit til I have to tear it out, luckily.
