I am so pumped! Just got back from Pinks All Out at Pacific Int'l Raceway, south of Seattle. What an amazing day, and what a event!!

But, I've just got to share the story of how a C4 almost stole the show. During time trials, a red/white 96' coupe pulls up -- green light goes -- the guy does a 5' wheelstand about 25 years long and knocks off a 10.4 second 1/4 mile time. The he does it eactly the same way two more times.

The Pinks team picks the 10.4 sec group to be the All-Out 32, and this guy is in it! A great moment for any C4 lover, but it gets even better. We now find out that the car is running a 350 sbc, this is his home track, he runs the car in the Stock Eliminator Class, and he's only 18 YEARS OLD!!!! Crowd goes nuts rooting for this kid named Dallas.

He makes the All-Out 16
He makes the All-Out 8
He makes the All-Out 4
He makes the All-Out Final!!! And does this all with those amazing launches with the car up on the back bumper, evey single time! The crowd is now going nuts as the kid is now just two more win lights from winning the $18,000. :thumbs:

In the final, he's up against a nice Chevelle. Unfortunately, the Chevelle won the final , but the kid in the C4 definitely won the glory and admiration of the fans and the Pinks team.

Every C4 owner can hold our head up and be proud of this kid's accomplishment. When the show airs on Speed channel in October, the C4 will be getting more national TV exposure than it's maybe ever had. Thanks Pinks!! Thanks Dallas!!!

Hey everyone! This is Dallas the driver of the red C4 in the pics. I'd just like to say thanks for cheering for me at pinks. It sure was an awsome feeling when I heard how loud the crowd was. I had a blast racing in front of 15,000 people.
As you know the car is owned by Tom Turner. He did a fantastic job building it so I give him most of the credit. I'm just glad he is nice enough to let me drive it, especially since he had surgery on his leg the week before.


haha, sorry but there is a good chance that I'll be driving it there.

Also if there's anybody that wants to come and see the car race, we're trying hard to be able to go to the National events in Vegas and Pomona at the end of the year.

I'd just like to thank everyone once more. Without the fans racing wouldn't be possible.
