The Black Street Rod model at the top was built by a very dear, and much missed, "late" friend of mine, Augie Hiscano. I've held that car in my hands, and I can tell you that pictures do not do it justice. It is over half metal, machined by the builder, and other parts are hammered sheet brass. And, it's 1:24 scale.

There are incredible craftsmen amoung us, and most times we don't even know it!

The engine, next to last, looks like a Connolley V8. Neat, but expensive.

I've always been impressed with the minature engines and cars that are built like that, especially the ones that function. Very neat stuff.
