Good Morning CGs!

Well, today would have been the perfect day to call in sick. No reason, just sometimes you feel that way. And a mental health day is just as important as a physical health day. Alas, I am still going to work. I need to be retired like Tommy

Stopped by the HD the other day and talked to the sales guy about the compressor I want. Decided I'll be picking it up on Sunday, so that's cool. Also, we went to Menard's last night and picked out the oak flooring we're going to put in the family room and living room. Exciting, huh? Looks like I've got my hands full for the next little while. I'd like to start working on some car parts and pulling the motor. We'll see when that starts.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Oowwwwweeee, home improvement projects! Sounds like fun. As far as retired goes, Tommy has it right.

TGIF, I need a little rest. Yesterday after school we went to my grandson's B-ball game (an hours drive away), they lost but he had a triple double. 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocked shots, so he had a pretty good game. Came home and the repair parts for my garage door opener were in the mail, so I went out to the shop to put those in. Then I finished up making the door parts for the cabinets I am building (using the shaper)...just have to cut the panels now and glue them together. The panels are a 1/4" plywood with 2 good faces, so they won't take too long to cut. After I got that done, I went in the house and finished up the computer I was working on. Another night not getting to bed until after midnight. The alarm went off pretty early this morning.

Hope you all have a great day!

Agreed, wouldn't have taken much of an arm-twist to get me to stay home today. At least the week went by pretty quickly. And the countdown to Sunday night's big game begins - go Vikes!

Have a great Friday, everyone!

Matthew= R U putting down the flooring yourself?

This is the most gloomy suck ass winter I can remember at least since 1984. It's snowing again and there's no sun. One of the big reasons I moved the last time was weather like this.

Up on the mountain (and on Interstate 80) the snow total for tha last 2 days is 78 inches, aaaaa 6 1/2 feet folks.

Oh well, we can use the water in the spring.

Good luck to the So.Cal guys.

I slept in today... as usual.....
I have become a '2nd shifter' I suppose. Up late, sleep late.
Need to do a cover for a 2nd booklet I'm working on, I'll start that in a little while.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Spent a few days in Nashville on business, and I am all packed up for my early flight home.
I love Nashville. Always a nice time here.
