Good Morning CGs!

Well, it's Monday. And I have to go back to work. Just doesn't seem fair, does it? I really enjoyed my extra couple days off, and the wedding this weekend was a lot of fun. Congrats again to Rick (RickAnthony on here) and Theresa.

I'm hoping I here something back from the engine builder this week. It is coming up on the one month mark, so I think that's about the appropriate length of time. I'd really like to get it dropped back in!

Forecast is calling for low 70s and rain in the afternoon. Hopefully I can get a run in this afternoon if the weather holds out. The one yesterday almost killed me, but I have to keep going.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

You just reminded me. My 90 coupe has been in the body shop for three weeks as of this Wedneday. Last I heard (from my wife) they had the nose and tail off and the hood had been stripped to the primer coat. She talked to the shop manager and as luck would have it, the painter had quit to open his own shop. I can only hope they hired a quality replacement painter, maybe even a better one. On top of that the entire operation is moving across the street to a new location. It's not a daily driver, nor weekly for that matter, so time is not critical. Please, please, please. No drips, craters, orange peel or other paint defects. It shouldn't be too much longer. Couple of weeks at the most I would think.

Matt. Do you have the engine bay ready for the transplant? Get it while the getting is good.

Greetings! Monday rolled around way too fast again. Wacky week ahead, supposed to be 80-ish tomorrow, then back to about 50 by the end of the week. Mojo to the soggy folks in Tennessee and to those who will be affected by the oil spill.

Matt, you're right, it just isn't fair that we have to back to work on Mondays. Pouring down rain on the way in to work. I was stuck in traffic to make a 30 minute drive into an hour this morning and then I forgot my ID card to get on base and had to sweet talk my way in. At least I finished a project last week that I was getting sick of and now I'm back on to something new.

Yesterday was HOT as Hell, and my face is beet red from the sun this morning. I'm still phsyched about how good I thought my car ran on its first run yesterday. Sucks that something broke, but I'll get over that. I'm already looking forward to the next event.

I'll be sure to keep you all up to speed on my continuing saga!
Take Care and have a great day!

I got my headlights fixed and done last night. Had to tear off about 5 times for other stuff, but now it's done. Got the kids crapper flowing again, too.

Right now I'm waiting on the window guys to get here and do a proper R&R on the picture windows we had replaced a couple weeks ago. The service guy seems to be fairly constructive about the whole thing, so we'll see what happens.

OK, at school now and things have eased a bit. I got over being tired...for now. For the first time in over a week I have had all my students here....that'll change for the afternoon classes as there are several activities going on this afternoon.

It was a long day yesterday see Sunday chat. We start up our Men's night golf tonight, so that will be fun....I hope. I haven't even pulled the clubs out of the basement yet, liable to be ugly for me, and I feel sorry for whomever draws me as a partner.

The window guys came and went. They did an R&R and put it back in properly. Or at least, to my satisfaction. I also called and got the biz manager to knock some $$$.$$ off for the time I've wasted with having to be here for two extra days. So I guess, for now, all my loose ends are all tied up.

I'm worn out. Drove up to the lake (3.5 hrs) to help my ex husband (we're still friends) with some renovations to an old house he was given. Knocked out two small walls, salvage the original trim for later use, pulled up carpet in one room and cleared junk and crap from another. That was enough for me.
So far recently I've managed to bust a microwave that was pissing me off. It was doomed anyway, the buttons quit, I've smashed a half broke shampooer and now taken out some aggression on an old house. Should set my mind right I suppose
Considering enrolling into a kickboxing class too. Just made a logo for the dude, said he'd give me a deal.
Oh, and did I mention the cops stopped me today! ARRGGG

Hope you all have had a much better Monday!
