Good Morning CGs!

Well, it's another rainy day here. But the sprinkler installers are supposed to come and do their thing today. They did my FIL's pretty quick, so I think they should get everything knocked out in one day here, too.

Got an exhaust pipe sitting in the garage boxed up waiting for a guy to send me paypal for it. Just trying to clean out the garage the best I can. I've got too much crap. Later I've gotta take Sam to gymnastics at the rec center. We do that on Saturday mornings but I'm usually working so I get to go today. Should be fun. Basically 17 two year olds running around and jumping on big pads, but she enjoys it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I busted my ass yesterday so I can play a little today. It has been record breaking hot around here. Low 90s every day for the past few days. Debating on whether I want to cruise topless (visual intended) or enjoy the tunes and the A/C with the top up. It went straight from cold to hot around here. What the hell happened to the nice days in the 70s? Might go cruise some yard sales and see if there are any interesting tools, then stop off and get my wife a card and gift card. Tomorrow I'll be up bright and early and off to an autocross. All I need to do is pack the cooler. Everything else is already done. Have a great weekend.

You should get your wife a "thank you" card. Thanks for staying married to me for 30 years.

Uncle Jessie....the moonshine smuggling hillbilly. So in essence, he played Willie Nelson.

Howdy! Been a semi-busy day, did a few chores, pulled the Corsas off, and then some sanding and painting on my stock mufflers. I'm just waiting for them to dry until after dinner to get it buttoned back up.

After Fridays trip to Indy I crashed today! Cold windy with drizzle. Finally got motivated to work in the shop and clean-up tools.
On the way back last night I lost my Bose rear speakers. Everything crackles! I have a feeling its the preamps. Not bad for a 23 year old OEM system. Any suggestions on replacements? God I love this Vette! Nothing like traveling alone at night and listening to the engine!
The hydraulics on my Toro Zero turn radius went bad last week. No reaction to left unit. Dealer picked it up today. Interesting to see how they will cover it!Extended warranty.
Taking my wife to the Casino tomorrow for mothers day and their buffet. Should be expensive!

I have a Toro ZTR also, and I think one side is going flaky - the wheel hangs up on a tight turn and chews up the yard unless I am careful.

Mine started acting up last fall! Left side seem to lose reaction to my left hand control. I cleaned the fluid cooler and checked level. By the time I put it away for the winter it was becoming more sluggish! Last week I cut the grass for the second time and the left side lost power and control.
I noticed that as it was getting worse it began chewing the grass on any kind of turn.
Mine is a Commercial ZTR steel welded deck 60" with a Kaw. 25 hp. 3 years old, bought a three year extended warranty.

Kevin great video! My dad loved flat heads. He had a 52 CrownVic and had the whole thing painted and chromed at his shop. He was the kind of guy that would put a flat head on a lawn mower. Ford and Corvette nut. Strange combo! Thanks for the post! brought back a lot of memories.
