Good Morning CGs!

Well, I don't know if we can live up to yesterday's daily chat containing hot chicks, cars, guns, and ninjas. Maybe we need some explosions in today's chat!

As far as things around here, the washing machine is fixed. I stopped by the appliance repair store and talked to the owner. He told to to spray that rod with WD40 and do it twice a year. If that didn't work, then replace it. So I sprayed the spring and rod and it wasn't helping. Then I realized the rubbing noise was coming from the plastic (poly?) mount on the top of the cage. Two pieces of plastic rub together and you could see little fine plastic dust that was squeaking. So I sprayed the crap out of it and guess what....squeak went away. All that for some plastic dust. Damn it. And to think a service call for that would have cost $200 plus the guy would have replaced that rod for $50.

Looking forward to driving the vette in the nice weather. I actually turned the heat on a bit yesterday morning. It was 60 and driving through the woods with the top off was a little chilly.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Busy day for me. Need to do some datalogs to see if the tuneup is safe my tomorrows trip to Carlisle.
Mick (mseven) has just begun the tuning for me, and is a huge resource. I am going to owe him big!
If I have any lean spots, I will be a passenger in my buddies C5. Assuming the datalogs are close, gotta wash the black beast up, clean some rubber out of the wheel wells, and maybe a little tire dressing before re-assembling the interior. Looking forward to my favorite weekend of the summer. Happy thursday!

Nice of the owner to give you that tip, Matt!

I'm done teaching now, so the rest of the week should be a little more relaxing. That teaching stuff is a lot of work, haven't flapped my gums that much in a long time. Looks like a beautiful day here, gonna have to take the top off for the ride home.

Have a good one!

Good Morning Guru's Day2 of 180, things are going good. Showing a History Channel DVD on History of Measurement and Standards. Kids have to take notes and a senior is in control of remote to pause it. Its always nice to have an old timer that has had woods for four years. I agree Matthew yesterday was turning out to be a S&W blog. Thats what is so great about our group you never know where a simple thing like HCF and Yankee Doodle Dandy have in common or led to.
Beautiful day today sunny high near 73.
Well guys, I have an electrician here to check on fried breaker and scorch marks on service panel. 277 3 phase.

Good Morning Gurus

Carlisle weekend is upon us! I'm not that excited this year as I have no car to take with me, but I need to go to keep my blood flowing. Maybe I can find a deal on a stroker motor!! LOL

Pete,
See you in Carlisle. We will be at the same spot as last year. We have two spaces near the building where they do the tech talks.

I'm leaving at 5 tomorow morning with my buddy Jim in his 2010 Z06. We will probably make pretty good time!

Wish I was going to Carlisle, 20 minutes from where I grew up.
I'll have to settle for going to the racetrack on Saturday.

Today, I'm headed to Lake Tahoe to look at a snowblower.

98 degrees yesterday, first time I've used the a/c in 2 weeks.

Morning guys, two periods down....four to go. Beautiful day here 69* looking for a high in the mid 80's. Should be outside, but alas, it's not to be. Not much else going on. Someday, I'll come up for Carlisle, I believe it has to be one of the great shows anywhere.

Today is my final walk through for my house to sell. Within a few days I will go from this massive 1220 sq ft hm to a more comfortable 320 sq/ft with a roommate(BEQ). I hope my wife realizes the sacrifices I make for her and the kids back in Charleston.

I just stepped outside for a couple minutes, and it is mintier than mint, just gorgeous. Hmmmm, suddenly I am feeling sickly, perhaps I should go home early just to be on the safe side....

We have a mint farm and still about 3 miles south of our school. Very pungent this morning. This farm grew hemp during WW2 for rope. Hemp plants (pot) grow wild all over to this day even in the schools green house.

Bought a 8 horse, 24inch snowblower up at Lake Tahoe for $100.00 Everything works well on it, even has electric start. Outside of changing engine oil and checking the nuts & Bolts, nothing needs repaired on it.

Burrrrrrrrr.

Luckily I never have to worry about that here.

Almost guaranteed, since I bought it, I won't need it.

BTW, the humidity today is 9%.

Good evening Guru's. Just returned from a 4 day business trip, from South Bend to Indy to New Albany In. to Aurora Ill to Naperville to South Bend. My Fusion achieved great mpg but wishing I was behind the wheel of the Vette. I hope everyone is well. Eating a late dinner with my parents and heading home(only 6miles away). Erin

You were ten minutes away and didn't even stop in to say hello. I see how highly I rate on the scale!

Got a run in tonight for time and did pretty well. Kicked my butt.

I'm also selling some junk on CL and already got stood up by two different retards. What a PIA.

Sorry Matthew I did stop in Aurora to gas up. Met a guy from Alsop that had a ZO6 and was putting midgrade fuel in it. Started a line the minute I looked at his car. "I bet you wish you had one of these" I didn't say anything! He sucked in his gut the minute he saw me. Thats funny!

More like Alslop Just be careful which part of Aurora you are gassing up in! North Aurora is nice, there are parts of Aurora that I don't like driving through....

Tommy I'm started to find that out. The few miles that I have put on my Vette has been a study in male macho behavior. Pull up to a Honda with two 20 something guys and its on, until they check out the car a little closer and see the ZO6 and turn down their subs and rap and listen to the engine. Neat feeling. Guys in other Vettes follow me.

Your right Alslop. I think I was on the good side off of 294. I just follow my GPS. You would think the way these guys act they have never seen a woman in a skirt before.

Well guys its been a long week and a really long day. I feel like something the cat dragged in! I get a little break Friday I don't have to be into work until 8 am. I noticed dad is relaxed now, he gets a little well actually a lot worried when I travel. He tries not to show it but he starts talking guns when his is concerned about my safety, good thing this is not a gun forum. Have a great night guys. Erin.
