Good Morning CGs!

Back to work...all of you! Another weekend that was probably too short? Not for me, I was at work anyway, but I'm looking forward to my days off coming up.

It's supposed to be like 92 and muggy today. My wife is really getting sick of the weather lately. She's in a stage where no matter where she is or what position she's in..laying, standing, sitting, she's uncomfortable. I think she's ready to burst. I feel bad for her. On the other hand I'm enjoying the summer

I spent friday, saturday and sunday at Carlisle, and boy am I shot. Met some great forum members. Mike, Wayne, Ron, Kevin, Ed and lots of other great people. Very sunburned, as the weather (for a change) was great. No monsoons, or tornados this year.
A little drama at the end of sunday though.
My normal gig is to sit in a chair (by gate 1) and watch everyone rush out into the traffic jam.
A beer or 2, and some french fries (I mean freedom fries) finish the weekend off nicely.
Anyhow, the whole place goes into a frantic lockdown.
I understand that someone held up a vendor at gunpoint!!
After about an hour, they (the cops) let us out 1 at a time.

Oh well, off to the doctor for a check up, and some shots for my trip to China.

Jeeeez, wacky end to Carlisle, that is a bummer!

Monday is off to a great start. They turn the air conditioning off over the weekend here at the office, and it smells like someone left some roadkill in a wastebasket on Friday. Delightful.

Morning guys....Weekend? See Sunday's post. First full week of classes for the kids and then a long weekend. We are going to my brothers again to meet with my brothers and sister.

Good Morning. Students are learning the fundamentals of the stationary machines. Its hot! room temp now with the morning sun beating in is 102. They never air condition the shops. Hope everyone had a productive weekend.

Sat - 78 but that was nice at the racetrack
Yesterday 65 and it actually rained

Typical for the high Sierras.

Hope it doesn't snow next week during the Reno Air Races.

Went to a Corvette only show in Lincoln yesterday. I took the 90 in but did not enter the show. Some real nice C5's and 6's on display. Not many 1's or 2's to be seen and only about 5 or 6 C4's. I had some nice talks with several owners and spread the Guru word around. Then went to the book store for awhile and had a nice cruise home. Got some weird noise coming from the alternater or the air pump that I need to take care of.

Hope you all have a profitable week, try and spread some encouragement around, it's a commodity that's in short supply.
