OK, so I haven't played a round in 2 years. And i loose a few balls here and there.
Are these enough for 18?

I would hope so. If you ever find them overpopulating your garage, I'd take some off your hands. I need about a dozen a round!

I haven't golfed in years. The teachers I would golf with felt they had to run everytime I hit the ball. Hit a church sign across a four lane highway, hit a South Bend Police car that was moving, dropped a course ranger, and dropped a Notre Dame Priest. I guess the priest did my golf buddies in. They said my ball was possessed, the priest was taken to the hospital with a head wound, he was released later OK. I soon found myself alone. I could smack the crap out off the ball just a problem where it landed. A course instructor said that I was taking my anger out on the ball! I could have strangled the little prick!!!

My best score was 98 in 9 holes not bad!!

I used to keep score by the amount of balls I lost.

When I was playing with corporate and customers, I kept score by the amount of drinks whe consumed in 18 holes.

Now when I occasionally play, I don't drink and I don't keep score, very enjoyable this way. But I still loose a boatload of balls.

The boxes in the pic are what's left of my stash. When I was still working, I had 120 boxed in the closet (1440 balls) . The UPS guy would deliver them by the case, free too.

I used to caddy and played occasionally with the resort pro. I wasn't all that bad really but it just never really grabbed me. Left the game when I was making better money elsewhere. At that time I used to make extra cash recovering lost balls.

I would buy used balls and loose a ton of them, I even had a Dino ball, a Dean Martin ball with his face on it from the late sixties. It was like hitting rock. Did you know you can't use range balls on the course. I suck!!! That sucking noise you hear is not a vacuum leak its me playing golf. I could win the PGA because the players would be nursing golf ball wounds.
My old golf buddies would yell "incoming" instead of Four.
That is all.

I would scuba dive in water traps to recover lost golf balls hundreds of them. A dozen for 2 bucks. It was private property and an elite country club with rent a cop patroling the grounds at night in golf carts. It was my 1st covert op.(in college) who would know it wouldn't be my last

My problem with golf now is i have to pay to play. When I was in Pa., a very good friend owned a golf coures and I never was charged for the round or the cart. (WE also had some "golfcourse parties involving 10 people per cart, in the dark but that's another story).

When I was working, we played the really expensive courses, like Pebble Beach and it just went in on an expense account.

When I started having to pay to play, my interest decreased a bit.

Did you know that a golfcourse's insurance will pay for carts that are rolled over? Ask me how I know.

You guys have me laughing so hard I'm crying!

They also have to use a tractor to pull them out of ditches, when a cart decides on it's own to go barreling backwards into a drainage ditch full of water...

Bill that is so cool!! I rolled one on a teacher golf outing,20+ plus years ago. I learned real quick not to drink without breakfast. My golf foursom were two former Marines, one Army Ranger and a SEAL. I think half way through we skipped a few holes and started stealing other groups golf balls. My golf cart passenger the Army Ranger broke his hand but was having too much fun to get it fixed! Needless to say we weren't asked to play the next year. Yamaha golf carts are bullet proof.

On that teachers outting above, I rolled it in a sand trap, we put the cart upright and my Ranger buddy asked how I did that so I showed him by doing it again and he broke his hand. A good time was had by all. He had a fractured hand and ulna. Went 2 days before he got it looked at. Wild Industrial Arts Staff back then, we kept calling him a pussy
if he complained, finally the school nurse stepped in and made it mandatory that he go to the Doctor something about nerve damage ganggreen and dealth Blah,Blah. Damn he had been shot three times in Vietnam whats a broken Hand Right!

The four of us had a total of 12 bullet wounds from AK 47 in Vietnam. Cool!

We were in Scottsdale once st a "meeting" and I put one on it's side against a hill on the 17th. Our foursome put it back on it's wheels. We then had a discussion about drinking and driving. We thought it would be best to walk back to the clubhouse. In 20 yards, one guy fell down and one guy almost threw up. We went back to the carts and drove in slowly, very slowly.

This is really a guy thing!! We got nuts quite a few times trying to play golf at staff outings. Did you know what Golf means?
Gentleman Only Ladies Forbidden.

On this same event above the Superintendent played ahead of us. We told him to tee off on the womens tee and he said why and the Marines(now shit faced) told him he was a pussy.
The superintendent knew me and blamed me for the Marines behavior! I told him that it was the Rangers fault and that Navy SEALS were respectful and peace loving as long as pussys teed off at the womens tee. Isn't tenure great. I thought he was going to cry! Bunch of Warriors beating the hell out of a little white ball is boring! I was written up for that! I'm probably on double secret probation somewhere.
Super left the following year for having an affair.

Now at 61 I'm quiet and shy...

So you haven't played with your balls in two years? Wow, usually they just enlarge as opposed to multiplying like that....

You guys are making me feel good ! I gave up on golf years ago.

However, I was watching the news the other day and in the sports report they show some guy fire off a great shot that lands about a foot from the pin. My first thought "I could easily 3 putt that."

LOL. I once carried a double on a foursome of short fat Jewish guys out of NY. They were averaging 12 to 14 shots on a par 3 hole. Maybe that's one of the reasons I lost interest. LOL
