Yup... I would hate to have to work on one of those pieces of shit... cheaply made, slow as hell and no room under the hood.

I helped Curt replace some front end stuff after an accident his son had in it.

For the brief time I was there, I felt like setting it on fire.

I never did like those cars, but they sold a ton of them.
They made them in Mexico I think.

My mom bought one when they first came out. I never liked it, but it hasn't given her any problems. Still has it.

I'm so sorry to hear this... They are the worst thing I can think of I have ever worked on, other then some motor homes.. just no room to work on, wait till the water pump starts leaking on it, and you have to take the timing belt off.. NOT fun at all...

if its an 01-02 then good luck finding a tensioner.. or if you do the $200 upgrade that looks like a complete pain in the ass.

Rented POS cruiser in Maui in 05. Terrible gas mileage, erradic shifting and leaked coolant. Had 8,000 Maui Miles.
No wonder Chrysler is in trouble.

Sad, and you can't even claim it's been abused as a rental. Because rentals like that aren't even fun to abuse. It's about as redeeming as whipping a 3-legged dog.
