Chair-man of the bored Homestead USA 33764 Posts Member since: 2007/12/10 0:00	Kind of interesting to see Americans protesting in mass again. The idea of blocking streets and offering peaceful resistance is not new yet it can be effective. Or ineffective. Looks like The House , Senate, Presidency and Supreme Court have a protest of their own going on. They have logjammed the system to the point that nothing moves forward. They're stuck. Maybe they all need a good pepper spray and ass whoopin followed with a little vacation at Club Fed. What would be the charge? Loitering in a pay status. Panhandling. Vagrancy. There really needs to be a call for change. Time to throw out the babies with the bathwater. ................. Just sayin.

One of them fell 7 stores off a parking structure this week trying to hang a sign up. I think it probably said something like "I have no respect for other people's property".

All I've heard is that they are protesting corporations. Seriously? While there has been a lot of insane corporate BS, such as CEO's getting bonuses from failing companies, corporations are not, in and of themselves, "evil". I'd like to see statistics on how many Americans are employed by corporations. My guess is over 60%. If we can't have corporations, do they want everyone to be their own private company? Or is it just the big ones we don't like. What if I become succesful in my private endeavors and am able to hire some people and incorporate. Am I now one of the bad guys becuase I succeeded in achieving the "American Dream?" You remember, right? The thing we used to be so proud of? Now it's a socialist dream, I guess. I will work and succeed and share with you. Just because.

Corporate greed is an "In your face" kind of injustice. Fail and win kinda thing. Buyouts, golden parachutes, bodacious perks. If the little guy suffers they would like everyone to suffer. No skyboxes ...... box seats. No corporate jet ..... first class airfare. They don't realize the big guy suffers too. Their 20 million dollar mansion is now only worth about 11 and they still have to pay the illegal hired help the same as before.

To be fair, employers always want some guy with 5 years experience in the exact field. It doesn't happen. If a company really needs someone, they'll find someone with the right smarts and attitude and train them on the rest of the trade specific stuff.
