Starbucks takes a fair position to repect the law as it applies to each store vs local laws, and these guys want to hurt their business?

I don't even like Starbucks, but will be sure to spend at least $30 there on Valentines day.

Don't get me wrong. Sensitive subject, and always will be. But to boycott a business for following the laws of each store location is admirable, in my opinion.
To strongarm them and take food off their employees table is chickenshit.

It says since Starbucks allows guns they are increasing the risk to their customers. Yeah, its the criminal population that is allowed to carry. What are these people thinking.

You'd think Starbucks wouldn't guns in their stores for fear of someone shooting them over their silly ass prices.

Doctors kill more people than guns - let's boycott them instead.

"Starbucks allowing guns to be carried in thousands of their stores significantly increases everyone's risk of being a victim of gun violence," NGAC CEO Elliot Fineman said in a news release. "Open and conceal and carry are among the reasons there are 12,000 gun homicides each year in the U.S. If we had England's gun laws we would expect 375 gun homicides each year—97% less than we have. England's gun laws are based on protecting public safety, ours on maximizing sales for the gun industry."

This guy states facts that are NOT TRUE!
And the The National Gun Victim's Action Council (NGAC) should be comdemned for lying!

Most importantly is how many VICTIMS of gun violence were CAUSED by open carry or CCW holders?!?
I'm afraid the answer is NONE!

I already do ..... Unless I'm realy really sick and feel like I'm dying. I have to go see my heart Dr every 6 months so I can get my prescriptions filled. I see my dentist on a regular basis too. I like chewing food and want to do so for a long time. It's just me. Starbucks .... I drive past them all the time. Not a boycott. I like real coffee.

Every cop is trained to believe that very person is armed.

It's a survival thing.

What were you packing, Pete? Do we call you "Pistol Pete" from now on?

Picked up a Glock 27 Gen 4 a few weeks ago. Much more comfortable to carry than my Colt 1911 Government model 45.
13 round mag in the pocket, and the 9 round (with a +1 extension) mag in the gun, I felt safe this fine evening.

I would hope so.

If I ever carried, or felt the need, I would pack my .44.

If nothing else, the single solitary boom it would make would scare the living shit out of anyone near by.

I'd rather be judged by 12,
than carried by 6.

I refuse to be a victim

As far as the article....I don't have a problem with the boycott. That's the grassroots political movement our society is founded on.

I don't care much for the organization itself, spreading lies and mistruths about guns.

I feel the same way. I would never infringe on their rights to do what I think is foolish. They are entitled. I just hate to see it affect someones paycheck.
