Happy Mothers Day all you mother .......... nevermind ....

Did I hit the jackpot or what? Thursday my wife asked me if I wanted to go to temple with her mom and dad for breakfast today. They were also teaching how to make sushi. Their temple is active like that. I said no, That didn't sound like Mothers Day stuff to me. Ended up my wife and son went to join my MIL and FIL for the breakfast and I ended up home alone. What to do .... oh, what to do? I'm sure I can think of somethin.

Good Morning CGs!

Had a full day yesterday. Work in the morning, got home and changed and then off to a wedding. RR #2 was not too cooperative so we left there around 8:30. Came back home, dropped kids off with in-laws, and off to a bar for our cousin's birthday. I think we left there around 12:30 and back home. Quick stop for a snack in the car and in bed around 1:30. Ugh. RR #2 was up at 7:15 this morning. At least he slept through the night. He's being wild now

I think we have a BBQ later which means no work around the house for me. I need to get the lawn cut and a few other things, of course.

I took my mother back and forth to church in the 2012 Centennial Edition, not really because it was Mother's Day, but rather because my father is working at the Commencement exercises at the University.

I think mom likes the CE, but I think she is a little fazed by the exhaust and the racing strips: certainly a little different from the glamorous quiet ride that is the 2003 'vert or the flat out age of the 1985.

Very nice John.....we also went to church and I took the ever stunning 02 since I had to be there early to usher today. Ultrawoman was wearing a nice corsage given to her by her children and now she is off for a day of shopping while we have been left with instructions to plant the garden and a flower bed in honor of her motherness.

It shall be done.......on earth as it is in heaven.....

Well, I no longer have a mother, nor am I a mother, so I'm waiting on Father's Day when the cool shit is on sale....
I did, however get a 'happy mother's day' wish from the Wal Mart check out lady, then a friend's wife offered the wish, then my aunt wished me 'happy future mother's day'.. (I'm wondering what she knows that I don't), and then an older man friend brought me a mother's day for grandma card, a scratch off losing lotto ticket and a candy bar... (inside joke, I was visiting at his shop one day and someone came in thinking I was his granddaughter, he said "no - she's m grandmother...")
Anyway, just a lazy day here, a Friend is up from Florida and we drove around the old home town visiting old friends and such and then I cooked some steelhead trout, crab cakes and veggies....
candy bar for dessert.

Evening guys...it was a nice day spent with the in-laws. Wife's sister and most of her family came over too. So 5 1/2 hours of driving was worth it. Mom looks more frail all the time.

Well, daughter and kids are here. Got to go. I check in tomorrow.
