Yeah the original lines are still on it.
These came in Wednesday
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WIL-220-8338

My 6pot Wilwoods fit my CCW wheels though I am going to need a 1/4in spacer. So I'm going to mount them up.

Though I decided to tackle taking apart the 17yo brakes hose until a weekend I'm not autocrossing.
(instead of 2 days before)

PB won't do much.

Absolute must - use line wrenches not standard wrenches.

A little heat on the connection won't hurt anything.

When loosening the line to frame tube connection the position of the wrenches must be where you can squeeze the 2 wrenches together with 2 hands, this will help prevent rounding off the fitting heads.

What Bill said. I ran into some issues with seized up threads when I did my SS lines.

It isn't pretty.

I also ran into issues with the lines on Bastets 87... so bad, I had to cut the line and flare it.

normally, I would agree... but hammers and hoses don't seem to function well together.

I would soak them in PB blast, definitely use line wrenches as stated.. and I would heat the fittings up before even trying to turn them. I bought one of these tools and I use it just about every day...

Very pricy though.

seriously cool... but also pretty expensive... but for what you do, it has to be invaluable. And no need to worry about being out of gas!

I saw that tool Rick has in action....it's awesome. Out of my price range for a toy, but Rick uses it in a professional manner.

Disconnect the hose and remove the retaining clip the rotate the hose around the hard line. A vise grip on the hard line makes sure the flats on the nut don't get rounded off.

1:29 into this demonstration, he says it draws 1000 amps?
Think he means 1000 watts?

He also says not to look into the LED bulb.
Salesman ought to get his facts straight.
