Still hot, I need to use the pool some more before the weather cools off. Last day of work for me then I have a nice long weekend, took some extra time off. I have the kids Thurs and Fri, though, so not much time to relax. I think I might go to the dr on Fri, back still isn't where I want it to be. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew

There are a half dozen rotted 4x4's that were supporting thorny dragon fruit plants. They need to be bridged, braced or an alternate method found to support the plants. I have to put on my thinking cap. There has to be a way. We'll have to replace the bad wood that happens to be surrounded by the cactus. Happy, happy, joy, joy. I would rather crawl under a pick up truck on a hot and dusty day to extract a spare tire than do this job we have today.

Big question now is which one am I planning on seeing? I must add, if you have never seen TSO, you really should. It is an amazing show. I might try to convince myself to mow the lawn tonight. I also have to run the tiller through the neighbor's garden again and mow her lawn as well. Baked some awesome brownies last night, getting close to time to have one.

It's hot again and I'm inside spraying finish in a hot room.. TSO? They never come close to where we are, would love to see them. Rain Brad? What the h3ll is that? Tommy, your wife just doesn't want any of her employees to get stuck and have to deal with workmans comp. Matt, I went in and had an adjustment yesterday, I'm better but still have a hitch in my giddy-up. Got to go, I hope all of you have a great day.

Just as I was pulling up to the gate. Hey Tommy! I got a job for you before you go. The pump guys at this location had dissassembled the pump house to run a new well pipe. The owners asked my wife if she would put the pump house back together. Hence Hey Tommy! They just tore it all apart so I had a bunch of screws that I had to remove, hacksaw and break some to get the clearance I needed to put the puzzle back together. Took about two hours. I made my escape around 01:30 PM. Now that I've cooled down some I noticed that my eyelids are getting heavy .... very heavy. I am feeling sleepy. Very sleepy ........ ....... ......

When I got here, the clouds came out and it came a gulley washer for about an hour. Still cloudy and not nearly as hot. Then, of course, around the corner is the Chick-Fil-A crowd....

A very good friend and my father figure, since my dad died 8 years ago, passed away after having heart surgery earlier today. My heart is very heavy right now. It's not been a good week for me. A very close friend also passed away last Saturday, from a ruptured colon. She was the same age as me (57). Now this....I hope what they say about things happening in threes doesn't come true here, I don't know if I could take another one.
