Battery crapped out, on my old Gen I Droid

I could have just got a new battery, but it was acting a little w3ird, and I was eligible for an upgrade.

http://www.motorola.com/us/consumers/DROID-4-by-Motorola/88569,en_US,pd.html

4G, 10 times faster than my old phone

HiDef video
The keyboard, yes I said keyboard, is a lot better on this one.

Car charger is compatible, as are the datacables mini-usb

I am not a fan of slide out QWERTY phones but the Droid line has always been a VERY solid performer.

Myself, I have always liked HTC as a manufacturer. I waited a long time for HTC and Verizon to release the Incredible 4G. It's fantastic.

The screen size is perfect for me at 4". It's almost as fast and tech heavy as the Galaxy S III. It's a 4G phone and on a network that performs fast and flawless in my area.

This is such a great time for Android supporters.

I've downloaded the Android SDK, it's FREE one of the reasons I bought one.

Great toolset.

I prefer the slide out keyboard on the phones. I have way less typing errors with an actual keyboard vs the screen. My last two cell phones had the keyboard, couldn't get the new phone with one. I'll try again on the next one. But that won't be for another 2 years or so.

I upgraded from a droid 2 to the razor maxx. So far no issues and I don't miss the keyboard.

I have personally helped several friends, former Blackberry users, find Android phones based on their specific needs. Every one of them wonders how they managed before the switch.

In the case of mobile technology, it's achieved so much in the last few years and there is literally no end in sight.

I highly recommend at least looking and using a few demos at your local provider's store. I'll bet you find something you really like and...

...there really is no downside.

I just upgraded my cell phone too. Got rid of the one with the battery stuff in a carry case and got one that actually fits in my pocket. Technological advancements are amazing.

No, it had a crank on the side.
