My wife took the 91 out yesterday. Needless to say, she brought it back it dirty from driving it in the rain. My son was over last night and I had to dig in a little. I said to him, I just busted my ass cleaning up the cars and mom goes off and drives it in the rain. I then followed it up with. I guess if you don't drive it in the rain down here you'll never get to drive it. Can't stand to look at the 91 in it's current condition so I'll have to wash and wipe it down again today. It's a sickness, I tell ya. It's a sickness.

Howdy! Looks like another nice day will be wasted indoors. Maybe I'll grill something tonight and enjoy a little of it, anyway. Hard to believe that a month from now, the Vette will be in hibernation.

Have a good one, Gurus!

Good Morning from the Mile High, looks like some blue sky outside but more thunderboomers for later. It doesn't matter since the car is dirty anyway....one thing about silver is that it does not show the dirt like the Mag Red did.

Just hanging out helping the kids pack, they are headed back to the left coast just farther up the coast like way up the coast by Seattle....don't ask...its complicated.

the GS is doing great and was comfortable on the way out. I was not all stiff and sore after spending 7 hours in it. The XM Radio is a blessing,to me anyway...always something to listen to. So far so good.

Have a great day Guru's.....

There's not enough money in the world for me to live in a city. Reno's almost getting too big for me.

No tractors near my house, just mountain lions, bears and coyotes.

Morning guys...I had an early meeting, then we are having a shortened schedule so not much will get done. The kids are all rowdy and not much for doing what they are supposed to be doing.

I got the first of 8 doors swapped out last night. What a PITA it was. Get it hung and swinging right and the door frame modded to the position of the of the door strike. Then i got to put on the handle.....the SOB's bored it wrong! Bored at 2" instead of 2 3/8......F@*K. If i didn't have so much time in on it I'd take it back and stick it right up their @zz. I checked all the others they are bored right. maybe I'll do another one tonight. Have to admit though, it looks great now that it is done.

Working on some chairs and a bench for one of the daughters in KC. Just like the ones I did for here last year, she's decided that she needs 6 more and a new table in the dining room.

Got to go..kids need me.

For those who worry about the Dems vs Repubs-- relax, here is
our real problem.......
Qualifications for President:

In a Purdue University classroom, they were discussing the
qualifications to be President of the United States. It was pretty
simple. The candidate must be a natural born citizen of at least 35 years of age.

However, one girl in the class immediately started in on how unfair
was the requirement to be a natural born citizen. In short, her
opinion was that this requirement prevented many capable individuals
from becoming president. The class was taking it in and letting her
rant, and not many jaws hit the floor when she wrapped up her argument
by stating, "What makes a natural born citizen any more qualified to
lead this country than one born by C-section?"
Yep, these are the 18-year-olds that are now voting in our elections!
They walk among US.

Lord -- we need more help than we thought we did!

Speaking of lies.

The congressional race here:

Every Other commercial has the word "lies" in it.

Commercials for both say that they WILL increase taxes for the middle class.

Commercials for both say that they'll cut massive amounts out of Medicare.

Commercials for both say that the other one is corrupt.

In any other instance...it would be really funny but...

Now, who will I vote for?.....They guy who drives racecars of course.

Good Evening CGs!

Been pretty busy the past few days. Slave labor doing the painting and then watching the kids the past two days while also trying to finish up the clean up and touch up work on the walls, etc. Plus get other little things taken care of as well. Working like a dog. We have about 25-26 hours invested in the total painting project. I'll post some pics later.

TB - chairs look great! Hope the doors work out for you.

Hope everyone has (had) a great day!

Just got back in and am headed to bed. It was a great day out with blue skys and warm temps. Nothing like mountain air right Bill? Even if it is Denver mountain air.

Headed back early in the morning so will hit eastern Colo when traffic should be light.....so will see if I can let the GS get a little long legged......but officer there is nobody out here and the tires are rated.....

Tommy what are they going to plant over there...I better come down there and inspect that field later....

Goodnight Guru's gotta roll out early.....

Good question. They just cut and turned the okra that was growing there. I'll let you know when I see the new plants. All the farmers are busy now. The main growing season is just beginning. Winter crops are a Homestead staple. Tomatoes, corn, pole beans, yellow squash, potatoes, cukes amd a few others are common. Strawberries a little later in the season.
