Good morning gurus.

Welcome to spring. Although it doesn't feel like it here in N.E. Indiana. Cold today with highs in the 20's and a chance of snow. It is a far cry from last yr when the temps were in the mid 80's.

Word of the Day Wednesday, March 20, 2013.

primaveral\ prahy-muh-VEER-uhl \, adjective;

1. of, in, or pertaining to the early springtime: primaveral longings to sail around the world.

Origin:

Primaveral hails from the Latin prima vera , literally meaning "springtime." This word shares its root with the Italian noodle dish, pasta primavera: pasta served with fresh vegetables.

Good Morning CGs!

As with Mike, there is noooooo sign of spring here. Same temps essentially. It was cold yesterday, cold today, cold tomorrow. Ugh. Although when the sun is shining it makes the day more bearable.

Kids have another swim lesson today, but I have to work so the whiff is taking them. Based on their rate of advancement, I expect the US Olympic swim team to be scouting them early next month

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I see grass in my future. The cutting and weed wacking kind.

It's on the list ........... Time for a spring clean up in C-2. I just hope that f@(%!~g dog isn't out to mess with me over there. I carry a length of rebar with me just in case. There is only one small area down by his owners house that he messes with me. None the less, I have to be on guard. Have a productive day, gang. Scratch something off the list.

Tawɨr laplapɨn.

It's the 20th, and we'll be lucky if the temperature matches the date today. I wish it was March 75th.

Enjoy your grass and whacking, Tommy.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Yeah....spring....18 here this morning and we need to go out and work in it.....oh boy!

We did meet Uboys prom date last night he had asked her over to watch a movie....so there I am dozing in the big chair with my favorite dog tucked in by my side and Uwoman is tugging on me to wake up because Uboy wanted to intro us to his girl.....I'm sure I made a good impression (cue the pictures tommy has posted in the past)

The car.......I tried to remember the last stick we had in anything around here and I came up with an 85 Jimmy pickup with a 6.2 diesel with a 4 or speed.....bad combo no turbo 4:10 rears...geez....I hated that truck. That was before any of my kids were ever born.....Sooooo I don't know, I will work him out in the GS and see if he gets it or not before I make up my mind. He's a good kid as you know who gets good grades respects his Mama and has stayed out of trouble. Unlike me at his age.....so I will try to make it work unless he just has to leave it in first the whole night.....hey not a bad idea....

Hope you all have a good day and start getting your summer shorts and gear ready......

Morning guys....It's going to be springlike for a few days, then plunge back into mid-winter. Low 60's and upper 50's until Saturday and Sunday when they are calling for low 30's. Spent the evening last night trying to plan our vacation. Right now we are planning on driving the Vette. Grand Canyon, Sequoia National Park, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe are all on the agenda, along with a family get together with family I haven't seen since 1960 or 63, if ever. I haven't been to Californica since 1960 and for some reason, they never come to Kansas.

Enjoy the out of doors today Tommy. Brad, Mike and Matt, I feel for you. I hope your weather improves soon.

So, where did you book your room, Tom.

Even though I don't live in Reno, I can be anywhere in Reno/Sparks in 15 minutes.

Summit racing is in Sparks,BTW.

We should listen to these people.

After all, who's more intelligent than a fashion model?

Charlie Sheen?

Anyone in Washington?

Any one on the Today show?

Thank You for the update, I'm cancelling my lunch at KFC.

Currently in Northeast Ohio we are at 29 degrees with an 18 degree windchill. Later today we will hit a high of 30, tonight's low 21. Where is that damned woodchuck ?

"Looking forward" to troubleshooting a computer problem for the little blind woman tonight. Some sort of corrupted file is what it sounds like. Her daughter was afraid to hit the "return to factory default" button on it last night.

Trying to work on some Sebring photos to post. Hope to have some ready soon.

Have fun and stay warm, gang.

I did both nuseries. Cut and whacked. It's 01:30. plenty of daylight left. Would have been an excellent boat day. I'll have to watch the weather report more often I guess. I'll go start the boat and run the 928 around the block a few times. Then see what other trouble I can get into.
