Sue got me out of bed at 07:00 asking me where I had put her keys? In a sleepy daze I walked the house looking at possible places I may have put the keys. I even checked the refrigerator,inside cabinets and the trash can. No luck. I started a room to room. No luck. I went through pockets. Nada. I came across her small purse and picked it up. Looking in the side pocket, "Voila!" I called Sue at work and told her; "Sorry honey, I don't know how I did it but somehow, I took your keys, put them in your purse and put your purse where you usually keep it". It's amazing.

Loud cars - racetrack - 101 degrees.

Beats the hell outa cutting grass.

Morning guys....I'm up, went to bed at 9 last night and slept until 5:30, then slept until 6:45. Surprising how driving takes it out of you. Today is a short trip, just 5 hours or so to my best man's place in the Denver area. We'll spend some time with him and his, go to church and then spend the night with them.

Morning GC world;

Yesterday was a scorcher...124 and even higher today!

The 'vette coming home from work ran so strange electrically and then I realized it had to be from the heat from being parked all day; I think the heat was messing with the ECM. It cleared up after I got the interior aired out but I'm going to check it out tomorrow morning on my Sunday spin.

Needless to say, We won't be going very far from home in this heat and especially with the 'vette. I've got a couple of projects in the garage to finish before 11 when it's too darn hot in there and then there's movies galore..The better half and I were saying last night that we can't go to Alaska to escape this because they're having a heat wave too. I think Antarctia might be nice this time of year....lol

Thanks Tommy, for the song and video. I haven't heard it in awhile. It should be played every morning on every radio in the USA. We seem to forget our lucky life in this great place and also all of those who served to give it to us.

This must be Key day.
My dear wife headed to the local pastry shop this morning. I received a frantic call from her. The key could not come out of the ignition switch. I told her to move the steering wheel a little and try again. NO GOOD. I jump in my truck to see what the HECK is up.
When I got to her, being the nice guy I am I did not laugh to hard, I told her the car needs to be in PARK to get the key out.

Late post for me....we took the kids to a movie and then to dinner. Got home and put them to bed and had some time to unwind. Tomorrow we are taking them to a stage show for the cat in the hat. Should be fun.
