Good Morning CGs!

It seems to have rained a bit here overnight. Not sure what the rest of the week has in store for us, though. Cooler temps than I would like, for sure.

So the new booster is in the car after some modifications to the master cylinder. Rule #1 of modified cars...nothing is bolt on. But it's done. I would still like to bleed the entire system now. Only got to do a driveway test and the booster seems to be functioning fine.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Greetings! Pea soup fog here in spots - we may get some rain today, then it's supposed to clear up for the rest of the week. I'm taking Friday off to play golf, so I hope the weather geniuses have their finger on the pulse.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Ugga bugga or death
Two dads doing missionary work in the South Seas are captured by a tribe and tied to stakes.

The chief says to them, "You have a choice. Death or ugga bugga.

The first guy says, "Well, I guess ugga bugga."

The chief shouts "UGGA BUGGA!" and 30 members of the tribe attack and sodomize the first dad.

The chief then asks the second father, "Now you have a choice, death or ugga bugga."

He says "well, my religion does not allow me to choose ugga bugga, so I suppose it must be death."

The chief says, "Very well," and shouts "DEATH. But first, UGGA BUGGA!

Like you guys needed to read this joke again. Now it will be running through your head all day.

You could tell BillH had a great day at the track by the residuum left in his breifs. (Conjecture, not specifically known or visually verified)

Morning guys...moving that big cabinet the other day put a kink in my neck and shoulder. I had a miserable night. I'm going in to see the bone crusher this morning.

Waiting on some dimensions before I can start on the golf ball displays. I had them on my desk at school, but the ladies came in to clean before school starts and now I can't find anything. They do a great job of cleaning. If something doesn't look important, they throw it away. I also had one of those desk calendars on my desk...OK so it was four years old, it had a bunch of notes, names and phone numbers on it that I use. They decided I didn't need that old calendar on my desk and threw it away. Hard telling what else is gone.....but my office is clean!

Women never understand a man's filing system.

That's kind of like a computer crash. You get to start all over again with a clean slate.

Tommy, I used to think that stuff was really stupid, but now, I still think it's kind of stupid. Not as much as when I was younger, now I can appreciate the work that went into choreographing those productions.

Critters of the day

If I were looking to buy a camel, I believe I would go for the ease and comfort of a double hump. Leave the single hump for the young bucks.

Happy dance - reminds me of an old story:

A young man is in a terrible accident and loses one of his arms. When he is released from the hospital, he is fine otherwise, but is so depressed over the loss of his arm that he decides to end it all by jumping off of a tall building.

He looked down at the street just as he was about to jump, and happened to spot a man dancing a jig and kicking up his heels. And this man had NO ARMS! He thought, "Here I am feeling sorry for myself after losing one arm, and this man can find happiness even though he has no arms at all. How foolish of me to almost throw away my life!"

The young man quickly made his way down to the street to thank the armless man, who was still dancing and kicking up his heels. The young man said, "You don't know this, but you just saved my life! But I have to ask, what makes you happy enough to dance?"

The armless man replied, "I'm NOT happy - my nuts itch!"

Les see, today's DNBFS is:

Might run over to Corvette Joe's and see his latest, the 63 Restomod's downtown getting painted, he has a 69 427 in the shop getting it running for the owner and he picked up a 66 427/425 horse to build & resale.

Sunday we're headed to Sac, HotRod Swap Meet, 11,000 vendor spaces available. Taking a vanload of Corvette parts.

I still think Don at the shop is going through that. He asked me to come up on my off days and work there and straighten up his office and file things and put things in proper order and create new statement things in the computer for him. also asked me to teach him how to take pics off the cell phone and make pdfs of the estimates and put all that into folders in the computer and how to email all that, and merge the two email accounts so he can get them all in one place... yada yada yada... so I did. Now he has me come up on my off days to do all the stuff he had me organize and show him how to do But hey - I didn't mess with the calendar pad on the desk - he did that all by himself
Raining again here, supposed to all through the weekend except for Friday. My step tubes came in yesterday so I guess I'll try to find something to hide under and be dry and get those put on this weekend.
Happy Hump Day I like in the commercial near the end where he says hummmppp daaayyyyyy....

Morning, not much going on here in Morgan Hill. Heck not much ever goes on here.
looks like the RV park septic pumps took a turn for the worse yesterday and bit the dust. Current estimate is 9K to replace them AND the cost of pumping the septic holding tanks down. I see a check being written today for a small 12K today.........

Good afternoon!! Power was out this morning at work. No internet and its still pretty muggy in here at the moment. I hope the AC kicks in again soon!

I dropped the car off this morning to have the factory mufflers re-installed. I'm worried it might be too quiet but I 'll wait and see. Bottom line is that I need a solid exhaust system. They said they were gonna charge me $250 to drop the system, fix the exhaust leaks at the collector and install the factory cans. Not too bad if its solid.

I'll keep you all informed.

Tommy - I'm a Jacky and Diane fan! Always liked that little diddy.

They're out there, all you have to do is your homework.

This one wasn't cheap though, but it's a Big Block.

And remember, this guy's a dealer (semi) , he's been restoring/building C1's & C2's for 40 years.

He said this one's going to be his driver...Yea,right.

He sold the red 67 Restomod for $100+.

The 63 Splitwindow is painted and he's picking it up today for final assembly. he also said this was going to be his driver......until today when the guy who bought the 67 called him and said he's interested in the 63 @ $150k.

And Tommy won't buy that 66.........

I think he's nuts...........stripping the frame with wire wheels, sanders etc.

I haven't researched, ( I can soda blast at my house ).

There certainly are multiple sand blasters around.

But, he's always looking at the profit thing (makes me sick).

The best way is dipping, even a furniture restorer can do it if their tank's big enough.

Youse guys could find em, but if you did.....THEN...what would you do?

Practice up on that Scrambler and then you'll be ready for "THE BIG ONE".

HELL, everybody needs a retirement thingy. It'll keep you from becoming SJ & MN'ed.

And Tommy can't buy that 66.........

Tommy can't buy sh...oe polish. If I had an expendable 50k lying around I'd be all over it. Sue has two real estate deals in the wings she's working on.
If I would have stayed working and put away all my overtime money from working every available minute of overtime for four or five years I might have been able to swing it.

You may remember, 5 years ago I started talking about possibly retiring. 4 1/2 years ago I retired. Two years ago we bought this house. I'm strapped for the next decade. If by some chance we come into some unexpected windfall, we have the guys name and number on Sues phone.

By the way Bill. You're a sonofabitch for bringing that up. My aging mind had already parceled thoughts of the 66 away in some vacant and rarely visited space in my mind. You've opened a door that will be hard to close.

Anyway, he's not selling and we're not telling.

(I can see the beautiful lines of this marvelously restored drop top. ... Fresh ... Clean ... Stunning. She sits on the cradles, covered, alone, in a corner. I reach for her but we cannot touch. For now it lives only in my dreams. She calls for me but I dare not answer. Is this really just a dream ...... or another nightmare? ....... )

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Keeping thoughts in the left front temporal lobe increases the chances of "From Dream to Reality".
