We weathered the storm yesterday. I hope everyone else pulled through with no major problems. It should be mostly sunny today with the temps in the mid 40's. Morning all.....no storms here luckly....other then the storms of life which seems to be battering some of our friends right now....Our friend with the Parkinson's is still in the hospital and may be for some time...that can be a nasty disease and the meds are a two edged sword also. They can help you with the tremors but the side affects are very nasty....
Welllll....got a big work week to get some orders in for seed so better get a shower and get after it.....the other half who isn't paying taxes need me to keep feeding them.... Have a normal day Guru's.....normal is good.... |

Morning guys....running late this morning. Seems as though I was running late all weekend. Don't know how the Chefs and Donkeys came out last night, but it must have been a good game.
Marcus, my MIL has Parkinson, they did some sort of implant, kind of like a pace-maker for the brain. That has really helped her with the trembling and had no real side affects. They did it at the KU med center. you might have them check into that. I have a feeling that this week will go by fast. B-ball starts tomorrow for the MSers with a game here, which I get to work, Several other things going on as well. Got to go....later guys, have a great guru day. Remember you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drunk....hell, it's water, not beer.  |

I was doing Wang Chung on various guitars on Friday even a Fender Stratocaster like Jimi.

I happily announced (to myself) that I had laid the last bit of fiberglass in the door jams.
I did some final sanding on the gaps and started to sand some of the old paint off...........and found a crack in the glass by the dashpad.  Which, of course, means............I'm taking a shower and going to the casino. |

I'm done for the day. (I think) ... Sue is still out. She took the 91 to town to do a few things. She said she'd be back in about 15 or 20 minutes. That was an hour + ago. Maybe I'll have to carry something into the house. Till she's sitting in her recliner, anything is possible.

Man you guys are out there today!
I am sitting in my brother-in-laws driveway of the new house waiting for him to arrive so we can do some work. Even though it is pitch black I have to climb up on the roof and check the flashing where I think it was leaking from the rain yesterday. After that we have some more demo work inside. Always fun. I stopped by Lowes today to check out the deal Jimmy Johnson announced after the race. A tool box for $48. I have plenty of socket sets so it was a pass. Since I was there I picked up some more Rustoleum rattle can primer and paint. I have some outdoor tables and planters already prepped. They're just waiting for paint. |
