2014 Memorial Day Car Show Winner!

Morning guys...cold and icy this morning. No additional moisture, but after the big warm up yesterday the fog was pretty heavy last night which left a heavy frozen dew.
The elbow is still sore and a little puffy, I'll continue taking the medicine. Today is a DNBFS day for me. And this week is going to be a short one for school. P-T conferences Thursday afternoon and evening, but have Friday off, except for Friday night we have a home B-ball game, so I will work that starting at at 4:30. |

Wait....I blinked and I missed it......for me bring back the old school 1/4 mile stuff.....that's what I like.
Went out to eat with the parents of our #2 daughters boyfriend last night. They were in town for a basketball game and we had never met before. It was ok nice folks we went to Applebees. Then went to the game with them and out home town boys beat their team. They had a son playing on their team. Today into church and then naps all around for everybody.... Have a good day off Guru's... |

Grey and ugly here too... Jamaican Blue Mountain in my cup to help out some... have some white beans and ham and then a bowl of my green beans, new taters and ham and some cornbread to take to the one in the nursing home, plus some other odd and ends in a bit... surprise lunch tidbits for her...

Howdy! Bright sunshine here, gonna be a balmy 4, which is 4 degrees warmer than it will be tomorrow. But there are still some 20's in the forecast for later in the week. Funny car times are unreal - that's about twice as fast as the were back in the beginning.

Walked up to a benefit breakfast for one of our parishioners who's had medical issues. We are now ready to go to the "city" to do some shopping (DNBFS....right). Yesterday was 45* today it's 14 and snowing. there is light at the end of the tunnel though, supposed to be upper 50's by Friday.

Been snowing all day here. Temp is 16 or so. Uwoman went on in to church but I stayed behind and did some chores. took a nap and am thinking about our trip to Phoenix next month.....can't get here quick enough. I was thinking about renting a Corvette from Hertz but doubt they have the C7's in place yet.
I'm feeling a new nap time coming up......I just put another log on the fire....talking about all the food Letty's making is making me hungry.... |

Finally got off my butt and got out today, got the Vette out, got it down to about a 1/4 tank and got myself a bottle of Heet and put in there and now I have no more zero oil pressure issues. Guess my suspicions of shitty gas was the culprit. Seems the car feels better and so do I. I refilled at a different station and then drove the shit out of it for about an hour. Yes, I'd say we both felt better after. Now I'm home and I can't keep my eyes open for nothing. WTH? I hate to take a nap this late but cant' hardly help it. Not had an appetite either for the last couple days. I'll eat cause I know I need to but don't want to. Oh and checked the weather again, and yeah, more snow coming - an inch tomorow and four tomorrow night... is this ever going to end??? |

Watched the tribute to the Beatles. It was pretty good, but I wasn't to thrilled with some of the versions of the songs done. they kept showing people there, and it would have nice to have known who they were. Some I did know, but some I had no idea.
