Good morning gang.
It's Friday. Yeah we made it to the end of the week. Lets get this day over and start our weekend. For Bill and Tommy enjoy your never ending weekend. Good Morning CGs!
Should be mid 50s here as well. I can't wait for the actual spring warm up and nice weather. We already said we were done with snow once and mother nature sure surprised us so I'm crossing my fingers. I have my dad's old rototiller in the garage that I am trying to get going. Wouldn't start so I knew the carb was the problem. Pulled it off and removed the bowl, the old gas had varnished and covered everything in a brown crust. The float wouldn't move. I pulled that off and looks like I will be able to clean it up. I ordered a rebuild kit so once that comes in I will pull it all apart. Briggs & Stratton has a nice write up with pictures on their website that has step by step directions on what to do. I've never rebuilt a lawnmower/small engine carb so the directions are helpful as there are parts in there I didn' even know existed...lol. I'll keep you posted. Hope everyone has a great day! Howdy! The freeway was pretty sparse today, lots of folks apparently have the day off. We used to get Good Friday off, but that must not be politically correct anymore. Anyway, the commute was less aggravating than usual.

Morning guys...It was a great trip to KC. There was road construction through our normal route, so we made a change. It made a little difference on the time/distance, but it allowed us to be on I70, 80 miles longer. For those 80 miles, I was able to set the cruise on 85, so we made up quite a bit of time there. I had a "rabbit" out in front of me and the radar detector never went off. When we got toward the more "urban" areas I slowed down to 80 (posted 75). The Corvette is simply amazing going down the road like that.
This morning, I am headed over to look at a ShopBot. After having the one at school, I figure that I need one for myself. This one looks to be a pretty good buy, if it is in as good of condition as it appears in the pictures. If I buy it, I'll have to make another trip up here to pick it up. We are going to be up here in a couple weeks for one of the granddaughters 1st communion, so no big deal. |

Morning all.....yeah I always had a tough time figuring out why this was a Good Friday with the events that happened on it all those years ago.....I know that Jesus himself asked if it had to be when He was in the Garden the night before. But for once and all time the sacrifice had to be made and the cross became the bridge that we all can use to get to a relationship with God.....it was the beginning of Amazing Grace.....as Jesus said on the cross It is finished.
I'm sure if you don't want to read that you won't... The weather is great here today almost like a real spring day out and am I ready. No big plans this weekend will have to work Saturday but if weather good will take the GS into Easter Services.... Today ........ring....ring.....gotta go load a semi...have a great day Guru nation... |

SUN IS SHINING ON THE NATIONS TODAY. WE'RE OFF TO WESTERN OKLAHOMA FOR DARLING WIFE'S ANUAL HI-SCHOOL ALUMNI GET-TOGETHER. WHILE SHE HOBNOBS I WILL NOODLE AROUND THE FARM AND SEE HOW DESERTIFICATION IS PROGRESSING. LAST TIME I WAS OUT THERE IT LOOKED LIKE NEVADA IN PLACES. My project for today got delayed till tomorrow. I'm thinking of performing a pillow maintenance check for about an hour. I could substitute another project ...... or not ........ Missed nap opportunities are hard to replace. Besides, all this music posting has got me drained. |
