Webmaster SW Chicago Burbs 22808 Posts Member since: 2008/1/7 0:00	Good Morning CGs! Well we had another significant rainstorm last night complete with thunder and lightening. I saw on the news that the "polar vortex" is returning for the summer and we should see temps as low as the 40s overnight this week. That's crazy. Need to run to the grocery store and do some errands today. Nothing major on the agenda. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew

2015 Memorial Day Car Show Winner! Huskerland 14775 Posts Member since: 2009/9/12 19:16	Slept in till 9 today which is somewhat decadent, then breakfast on the deck and some lively spirited conversation and now I'm getting ready for my morning nap.... Ordered some splash guards for the front of the GS. The rears have them from the factory but not the front tires. They will look just like the back ones when I get them on. I'm getting some pitting and such back on the rear qtr panels and this should stop that. Here is a recent pic off the front porch after a rain....have a nice day off Guru's....

No rain here - we've gone from whining about the dreary rain and hurricane weather to hot humid and miserable. My dryer took a crap the other day and I thought I could fix it but it's the pulley on the back of the motor and unless someone is willing to sell me their bad motor so I can have the pulley it's not happening. I ended up with a Maytag Neptune - $150 and gave him my old dryer. He wanted $200 before. And sadly, it's still in the back of the truck. My friend at the shop was gonna help me move it, told me when I got it to let him know and we'd get it moved one way or another. I messaged him yesterday at 2, I know he was up there finishing a truck. The other gal was there helping. He asked was that the new one and I told him it was and told him I needed help. 4:30 nothing, 5, nothing so I went up there to at least get the dolly and try myself - I know I cant but still. His truck was there, place locked up and he was gone with her out whoring around in her truck somewhere for a couple of hours. I was still out and passed him on the road at 6 headed home. Pisses me off when people do me like that, and there his wife is at home thinking he's working. I messaged him and told him thanks for helping me, guess he was too busy out with Teresa scewing off instead of keeping his word to me, hope the dryer doesn't get stolen out of the truck during the night... jackass. It's still there and I guess will stay there, nobody around here that can help. At least I guess I can cross doing laundry off my list for today's chores.

I had a couple others offer to help but they were in no physical condition to do so. Yes I do hate my part of the country sometimes . You want to go with me?" So, I go in change clothes and we jump in the Corvette and we drive the 2+ hours to visit. Her brother and SIL from Florida are here as well as her dad her sister and a niece. Mom is not responding. We'll head home later.
