The first major front has pushed through South Florida and I couldn't be happier. Well, I could, but that's another story. Off to the shower for a hot water revival then into the back nursery for the seasonal clean up that I've already started. My motivation for the fall clean up is the day I can say that it's all done. That's weeks away so it's time to press on. One day at a time gurus, one day at a time. The pool/pond finisher is supposed to stop by today to give us an estimate. He's been busy. He's also one of the best around so we're being patient.

Nuts......if we coulda shoulda woulda...we might have won...football games need a 5th quarter then we would have won.....if we would have scored more we would have won....hell of a runback by Pierson El.....just too little too late.....did we even play the first half...? geez...appreciate your condolences though.....

We will see them again in the Big 10 championship game in December.....then we will win......

Beautiful day here in Huskerland regardless of the score...I think I will take a nice long drive in the GS..to admire this great country we live in.

Went to one of our clients daughters wedding yesterday. It was a cowboy wedding held out in a field and we set on hay bales and the wedding party arrived in a horse drawn wagon and the bride and her dad in a horse drawn surrey. Weather could not have been more perfect. Lots of cowboy hats and manly leather boots were to be seen.....lots of fun.

Up and had the ham and eggs already, clothes in the dryer, bout to head to the nursing home. Need to switch out her hummingbird feeder for a regular bird feeder. I still have hummingbirds here tho. I'd rather not have a seed feeder, don't want all that poop everywhere. Wanted to drive the Vette supposed to be 80 and sunny here but it's still cold and cloudy.... have a happy Sunday guys.

Recovering from the festivities of yesterday. After the big day at the Cheese, we came home to finish the celebration. Both sets of grandparents, an aunt and uncle, neighbors, friends. 6 kids terrorizing the basement, but that's what it's there for, so the rest of the house doesn't look destroyed, right? Our family and friends are extremely generous when it comes to gift giving, so this kid made out like a bandit. He got so much ninja turtle gear he might turn in to a ninja turtle. He is, of course, wearing it while eating breakfast. No surprise.

Cleaning day. Have been baby sitting friends dogs. Along with my dog their is a layer of hair every where. They dug holes in the backyard trying to catch my goffers. Gotta mow the grass the leaves started falling .
Later I will have time to work on the vet.
As I type this my lab says we have to have breakfast first and play with him.

Morning guys...worked too late again. I slept to almost 9. Not quite as much of a hurry to get going thought this morning.

I'm back to the business working on the computers. got things moving along now though. Still have one to go but it shouldn't be too bad now.

The weather is great here, feels like fall. 48 this morning when I got up, not sure where it is supposed to end up, but I may get the Corvette down and go for a little drive myself.

Matt, that is what basements are great for. Marcus, we've been to a couple of those weddings here.....different. Letty drive the Vette, it won't melt.

Hidey-ho! It's a balmy 41 our, supposedly heading for 53. I may need a babushka when I mow later. Or a shot of brandy. Or both.

Changed oil on the Vette, and then went out to mow. It was still in the 40's, but at least it was cloudy and windy, so that was delightful.

I've been having age related flashbacks of late. Paul Revere and the Raiders brings back another one. RIP.

I wish it was clear and cool.. it's damned hot here again!

We have been stuck in a heat wave for the last 3 days... should break tomorrow.

You see, as the rest of the US cools now, we here in the SW get burned up. Usually breaks, once and for all, by November. At that point, the fronts get cooler and wetter, and rain starts falling in the northern parts of CA... We won't see rain until Thanksgiving, usually.

Worked on computers all morning, spent three hours cleaning the Corvette. Here's what she looks like now, with the tinted windows.

Yea, Paul has been in poor health for some time. On SiriusXM, Cousin Brucie interviewed him about three weeks ago. They said then that Paul wasn't in good health and that this was rare that he would give an interview.

RIP Paul.

Yea, there are a few spots way up high in those "dots" that didn't adhere perfectly.

The head unit is really nice. Nav is easy to use and the XM sounds great. Back-up camera is a nice addition (kept it over from the unit they took out). I haven't tried the DVD yet or the CD player.

ROYALS WIN!!!!!!

Rosie is on the road home from KC. She was watching the #3's kids while she and her hubby competed in the American Royal World Series of Barbecue Open. They didn't get home until 6:45, Rosie got on the road home at about 7pm. I've been calling her about every hour checking on her. Still about an hour away.

It will be a late night and an early morning.

That's a nice car, Bill. Probably out of my price range, but then again the regular Corvette in the video is out of my price range.
