Morning guys....ready to head over to the church for the funeral. The wake service last night was packed. It was foggy and got even more foggy over night. The sun is finally burning through though now.

Sun is out this morning, rained sometime during the night. I knew it had yesterday but figured it was over with when I went to bed. Supposed to rain again tomorrow. Just dawned on me it's nearly turkey day - was told the even and scene of attack will be at my cousin's house - bring what I usually do - which means they want my mammaw's cheesecake and my cheesy bread - a mix of cheeses and spices on sundried tomato/olive bread, and possibly my black sista's mamma's sweet tater pie and another old recipe for pineapple/cranberry sauce. I really ain't up for all that sh....

Greetings! It's a balmy 35 and the snow is already starting to melt. I imagine at some point this will all come to an end, and we will have a nice sheet of ice instead. Meanwhile, gotta get ready to put a dent in the couch as the Gophers are taking on Marcus' team.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Yee-haw - the Gophers won at Nebraska for the first time since 1960, amazing! Sorry, Marcus ;-)

I listened on the radio out in the garage - I decided that since it had warmed up a bit, I would buff out some of the dealer-installed swirl marks on the truck and slather on a coat of Rejex.

Church was packed, so was the dinner. Sat across the table, at the dinner, from M.L. Carr, former NBA player, coach and General manager of the Boston Celtics. Extremely personable gentleman. One of the deceased's granddaughters (BIL's niece) is his personal assistant.

The weather has gotten pretty nice. It was 61 when we returned home. Rosie and her dad have been out for a walk. Now we are listening to the state 8 man Championship game. Our home town is in the final.

Congrats to the gophers, Brad. One of our teachers have season tickets for the Huskers and were headed to Lincoln last night for the game today. Must have been a disappointment to them, Marcus and all the husker fans.

Aaaaaaaaaaack........how can that happen? Going in for the winning touchdown with about a minute left and we fumble the ball........Aaaaaaaaaaa........its how you silence 90K fans till you could hear a pin drop......except for the obnoxious Gopher fans......actually the ones that sat around us were real nice....Congrats Brad those guys have a good team and they won it in the 2nd half.......don't worry we will be back.......

Long day but other than we can't win a football game it was a good one. Sun came out at noon and turned out in the 50's........

Tired now and must turn in.........have a good night Guru's........
