Good Morning CGs!

Wow, I can't believe that this is the last day of November. Where has this year gone? I think we tend to say that every year. The days go slow but the years go fast.

I was able to get the Christmas lights up last night. One string wasn't working so I had to trash those, but they were a non-essential section so that's ok. Need to pick up some replacement bulbs since a few seem to have burned out. I told my wife that when the LED strings go on sale after the season I want to buy those instead.

Wife said all of the Christmas shopping is done. My present was my toolbox. She is getting a remote starter for her car. We won't exchange gifts this year. No real point in it. I have everything I need or want, otherwise I get it. Same for her. She's not a big jewelry wearer, so if I get her that it just sits in the box. Kids are the priority. They will get spoiled by the family this year...again.

Howdy! Today's mission is to figure out why 4 branches of the Christmas tree aren't lit. I ran out of time yesterday, and they didn't fix themselves overnight.

Breaking news in Huskerland......Bo Palini head coach of the Huskers was let go this morning after 7 9 win seasons......big doings out here.....the State will be buzzing as the coffee shops go wild......more later.....

evening guys....well the long trip home is done. A stop half way home to visit FIL and my little brother and his wife. Found out that my mentor (my high school shop teacher) passed away Friday. I would like to come back to his funeral, but I have way too many things going on.

When we went to church a little after 7 this morning it was 36*, by the time we left KC, about 8:45m it was 31, and as we made our way west, the temperatures just kept dropping. 23 was pretty much the norm. It's cold tonight already, glad we have the e-blanket fired up already.

I wasn't here today because I spent ALL day hanging X-mas lights.
