Before Christmas I picked up a cluster for the 91 from a parts recycler for $200. Finally got a chance to install it yesterday. They're a ton of fun to get in. Looks great though. I can read my LCD screen again. I also replaced a headlight only to find later that it's not the headlight. Looks like I have a low beam contact/electrical issue so I get to take another crack at that. Ran the 90 and the 928 then started the boat and let that run awhile. I have a little job at the nursery today then I hope to get back home and have a car day. They all need a good wash. Looks to be yet another busy day. Maybe I'll play a few good cd's to help set the pace. Recharge the A/C on the 911 if I can fit it in. Whoop tee doo .........................

Good Morning CGs!

BIL called me last night and said he was having snowblower issues. Of course he's 40 minutes away and it's 9:00 at night. He is not an engine/mechanical guy but I was able to walk him through some stuff over the phone and amazingly it started. Just needed a little encouragement with a splash of gas in the carb.

We got about another inch of snow overnight. I will handle that this morning, then I will go and run some errands.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Xanki pa'ri!

Heat wave here, it's -3 today. I think the high tomorrow will be colder than that, though. Meanwhile, a little dusting of snow has generated a lot of work for local body shops.

Have a good day, Gurus!

That's a good idea. Areas left for the butterfly to forage, wherever that may be ......... We sell milkweed and other host butterfly plants. We sell a good quantity of bird, bee and butterfly attracting plants in general. People like to see things flying around their yards. Well, some things .....

Every time I picked up a C2 part yesterday, I found I needed one more little part to put it on the chassis.

Another hundred dolla order to Paragon.

Probably won't help cause the chit hit the fan this week on race car stuff. We have races in March and I'm already behind on car builds. Going to look at engine blocks today, working on some vintage race cars tomorrow.

Hope I can find some time to play with the 67.

It's due to get up to 40 here today and the sun is bright and shining. Yay! Now hold yer taters, cause tomorrow the high is like 12 and the low is 8 or something like that. WTF? Although I shall not whine much after seeing some of you post negative digits. I'm due a four door something or another to measure today for a wrap, hope it actually shows today instead of tomorrow. Take me bout 20 mins to do that outside. Day already started off busy, had to run to the bank at the next town to handle stuff for the one in the nursing home - the Medicaid stuff isn't going like it should be and I'm having to monkey around with money to get stuff covered. Bout to piss me off at a case worker and at Blue Cross among other things. My doc appointment went good yesterday - she told me that I looked good and that I looked healthier and smaller even and appeared to be converting my fats to muscle (even though I've not been allowed to work out due to adrenal fatigue). She did clear me for light workouts now, changed some supplements, said I'm still off on hormones but she's not received my labs back yet but sees some hrt stuff in my future that should help even things out but she already sees improvements. Good report there.
If the butterflies are missing, chances are they're in Arkansas - we stay pretty covered up with those things - those monarchs are quite common around here.

That would make driving on a dry surface seem like a cake walk. Did I ever mention that I don't miss driving on snow and ice?

Speaking of snow and ice, I think the weather gurus are calling for a high of 84* today. Lucky for me there's always tomorrow. Cold front sweeps in and supposed to have lows in the high 50's and highs in the low 70's. Tommy T-Bone weather for sure. Oh that Florida winter weather .......

nah - she's one of those total body wellness doctors - I have what they call 'adrenal fatigue' so exercise wasnt' allowed for a while - hormones were way off balance and messing with how my body handled fat storage and all that mess. I think she was trying to put it in a way I'd understand - fat doesn't 'turn into' muscle

I'm very happy with her.
We've done a battery of blood lab work to see exactly what my body is having issues with and where the problems are, just completed a digestive tract lab as well and found the problems there, just completed my female hormone level lab and results should be back in very soon from that. Am off the BC pill and within the first month can tell a ton of difference in a good way. Adrenal fatigue is better, as well as depression among other things. Hair on my head is starting to return, I've noticed new growth, stuff where is should't be is minimizing, skin is healthier, I feel better, am sleeping better, moodieness is better, no more getting up and crying every day and night, energy is better - I'm cleared for workouts again but keep it light - my size is smaller, I can tell some fat has been leaving my body - I'm on a multi vitamin that I feel is helping - I still need to up the protein intake and make some other dietary adjustments as well. Yes - I'm VERY happy. What works for one person does not work for everyone and what works for a man certainly don't work for a woman. And, whether most folks will admit it or not - you have no idea the power hormones, or lack of them, will have over your body. Mine is a case of 'lack' of some... progesterone to be specific. Still a work in progress but way better and a lot of folks around me have noticed
