I feel better today than I felt yesterday. I'm sure I will continue to improve as the days go by. I don't know why I get so emotional over some things but I do. Tears let me know that I'm human, that I still have feelings. That's a good thing. I sure would hate to be a callous, weathered stone of a man but I'm sure that has some advantages. |

Well, meeting done. Cold again here, but supposed to warm up some over the next few days. Must have snowed pretty good, south and east of here as many schools in that direction are out today. I hope it clears up by Friday, as that is where we have to go to play ball Friday.
Well, as I look outside, it's snowing here now. I don't think there is much moisture in it though, as it's blowing around pretty good. Tommy, my sympathies to you. Brad, that picture could be me in a couple years.  On a higher note, my brother is doing better. They have him up on his feet walking a few times a day. Still in ICU, but they hope to have him moved out of there by the end of the week. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts, I'm convinced that they have a lot to do with his recovery. |

Bill I think your cherokees and I share the same weather... rain here right now, was 65is? yesterday - ice and snow coming tonight - again - worse than before they say. Then I'll be having 19 pink twinkies wanting out of the house. It'll drive me nuts. Sorry to hear of your loss, Tommy.

Welp - couple inches sleet and now about 3" or so of snow on top of it all, rain to start with underneath everything. Nice. And me cooped up in the house makes for a fat gal - I end up in the kitchen cooking and crap - have some dry rub (8 spices I mix) on some ribs and then I used four more things including Knob Creek bourbon and sorghum for a glaze for them later near the end of the low n slow oven roasting. Then while that's going on, had some seasoned boneless, skinless chicken thighs in a pan with some olive oil, topped with peach mango salsa, brussel sprouts with a butter sauce and sweet potato... I hate this white shit, someone please come get it......
