Good Morning CGs!

Well, it's not Monday, so that's a start.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning guys....Feels like Monday...I think, maybe it's Wednesday....heck I don't know. I'm up and waiting for a computer to arrive to work on. Counter tops which were supposed to be in yesterday and weren't are supposed to be there now. I was a little more than pissed yesterday when I made the trip to the 'city' to get them and they weren't there. Now they are are.

Weather is going to be glorious today, a nearly perfect fall day. Nice and cool when we got up, and only going to upper 70's.

A BETTER DAY AT HAND IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, SUNNY, 60 DEGREES. THE CHEROKEES WERE DISGUSTED WITH YESTERDAY, HEAVY OVERCAST AND CHILL ALL DAY LONG.

THINK I'LL GO TO THE RANGE TODAY, PLAY WITH GUNS, REFINE THE ZERO ON A .22 MAG, SEE IF A .308 WILL GROUP WELL ENOUGH TO KEEP.

Mɨɨngɛnga!

Been busy since the git-go. Kinda dreary out there presently, but I think it is supposed to clear up later. Some 70's in the forecast for the weekend, so I'm guessing the BBQ will see some action.

Enjoy your day, yawlz!

$240?? Nice nose there.

There's a corvette parts/salvage place at the end of my street. Can't hurt to ask him if he has anything you can use.. Adair's Corvettes Jonesboro, AR he even has an ebay store I believe.

Been dreary last couple days around here, looking better and back up in the 80s. Trying to get ghetto pool cleared up and covered. Turned green as hell as I was gone with BF a lot. He still sore from his surgeries but better. Keeps me busy with my chores then stuff of his that needs done and he still can't drive. Working on a Vietnam style Harley Trike wrap at the office. Motor home finally done at the body shop then he comes in after it's done wanting to do more stuff. If he wanted a resto on it he needed to say that at the beginning and then not bitch about the cost of if. Even whined at cost of new vinyl striping. Sorry dude, just cause you're 80 don't mean shit costs what it used to....

Thanks VB but, there's nothing I need that would come from a salvage yard. Every thing I need is new like bearings, engine rebuild stuff, carpet, etc.

OH, I had them and the mice made some really big nests out of them,

They go on the inside of the firewall, big one's around the steering column and pedal box. Little one around the heater.
Plus there's another $50 piece that I need to get.

END OF A NICE DAY, GOT UP TO 80. ALL WENT WELL AT THE RANGE.

I MADE THE MISTAKE OF USING A WILLIAMS GUIDE PEEP SIGHT ON THE .22 MAG SO THE RECEIVER WOULD NOT HAVE TO BE DRILLED FOR A REGULAR RECEIVER SIGHT. THE ADJUSTMENTS ARE ALL SLIPPY-SLIDE WITH NO WITNESS MARKS. TOOK 38 ROUNDS AND ABOUT THREE TRIPS TO THE RANGE TO GET IT ZEROED. I'LL KNOW BETTER NEXT TIME.

ALSO TRIED OUT THAT TYPE 38 JAP I GOT AT THE LAST SHOW, JUST TO SAY I SHOT IT. 6.5 MM, VERY LITTLE RECOIL.

BILLH THAT CAR IS REALLY LOOKING NICE!

Made there, purchased from Wilcox Corvettes,

It's actually some kind of rubber (or tar paper :tard ) molded with old time insulation made from fiber strands, original equipment.
