Greetings! Back to the grindstone. Perhaps the worst part is wearing long pants. Well, other than the annoying alarm clock.

I had posted this on Saturday, but don't know if anyone saw it - kinda fun quiz:

Have a good day, all!

Good Morning CGs!

Called for another doctor's appointment today. The earliest the ENT can see me is tomorrow, so that's when it is.

Should be a nice day today. Kids are behaving, so there must be something wrong...better go check....

Marcus - where to for vacation?

HOT AND HUMID IN THE NATIONS TODAY, MITIGATED BY A NICE BREEZE. MAYBE THAT'S THE BEST THAT CAN BE EXPECTED :-0

WENT TO CHECK OUT THE NEW HARBOR FREIGHT STORE IN MUSKOGEE. I WAS FAVORABLY IMPRESSED, VERY CLEAN, WELL LAID OUT. LOTS OF TEMPTING GADGETS THAT I'D NEVER USE ENOUGH TO JUSTIFY THE COST.

Who says building a border wall won't work?
The Chinese built one over 2,000 years ago
and they still don't have any Mexicans…

Hey guys....hello from 10250 feet elevation. We left hot Kansas yesterday about 11am heading west to cool Colordao. We made it to our destination, Leadville, by the mid afternoon (time change involved here). Got settled in here with Rosie's sister, her hubby, Rosie's four brothes, their spouses and 6 adult children. It's a big house snuggled in the high mountain pines. One of the adult children's husband, asked if anyone brought our golf clubs, as he did and wanted to play. So SIL's husband and I went out with him this morning to play 18. The course claims to be the highest elevation course in the country, over 10K feet.

I must admit the elevation was getting to me last night, but felt pretty good during our 18 holes. The backdrop is several 14k peaks. One the highest peak in Colorado, 2nd highest in the lower 48, Mount Elbert. Another, the namesake of the golf course, Mount Massive. It was a pretty course. while we were golfing several others (11 to be exact) decided to climb Mount Elbert. When we got back, several had altitude sickness from the climb. Most have recovered now.

The talks for tomorrow is we will play golf again. This time we are adding a couple more people.

Temp this morning was 46 and by the time we golfed it was low 60's and upper 60's when we finished. They said at the summit of Mount Elbert it was 28, yes there is still snow up there.

Getting things ready for supper, it is Us, Rosie's sister and hubby's turn to feed everyone.

I know what you mean, Tom. Sometimes I think the elevation got to me.

Sue's home from surgery and resting. Surgery went well. Now, lets see if it did some good. Won't know till after the swelling goes down and the stitches come out, probably next week. Getting the dressings changed at the Dr's office tomorrow.
