2014 Memorial Day Car Show Winner!

It is with an extremely sad heart that I start this chat out with the passing of my little brother. About 6 pm this evening my SIL called me to say that he had a heart attack and that they were unable to revive him. Of my siblings, he would have been the last one i expected to pass. As you know my older brother has his issues and my sister is fighting breast cancer. This came as a huge shock.
Please keep him and his wife in your thoughts and prayers. |

We were in KC when we got the word and as quickly as we could, got our stuff together and came right here to be with SIL. Half way across the state, but worth the trip. She doing reasonably well, but the reality of the whole thing hasn't sunk in yet. We just got her to go to bed and try to rest.
If I don't post for s few days, you'll know why. |

Our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family, Tom. I have felt how you feel when I lost my younger brother 10 years ago to a heart attack. I miss him on a regular basis and speak to his picture when I encounter it around the house. Life holds many unexpected surprises. His death messed up many of my plans.

Thank you guys. It's been a pretty good day so far. My older brother, SIL and their two boys, SILs' one brother his wife, her sister and her husband, several co-workers and friends have been in and out.
We meet the funeral director tomorrow and it looks like the memorial service will be Wednesday. |
