The first day of my plan did not go according to plan. I woke up at 07:15, saw it was still a little dark out and went back to bed. Maybe tomorrow it will work out better. Maybe not. [insert image of man digging a hole in the ground, putting up a Good Night sign and jumping in the hole]

Morning guys....I slept in pretty good for me. It's chilly right now, but it is supposed to warm into the mid 70s today, then the low 50s tomorrow, then upper 50s then low 70s....we are on a freaking roller coaster!

While the neighbors are gone, I'm trying to get some stuff done for their bathroom. I'm going down to put the last coat of mud on, rout the cabinet doors and try to have things ready for grandsons tomorrow to stain. We'll, more than likely, have to make a run to the 'city' today too.

Time to get around and get going! Have a great Sunday!

Greetings! I tried to make up that hour, but it doesn't feel like it. So I may have to persevere and try some more later. Meanwhile, the weather geniuses are predicting 3-7" of snow later today. We shall see.

Have a good day, all!

Good Afternoon CGs!

I was up and at 'em early this morning. Hard to sleep in when you're used to waking up before the sun.

I watched a 1/2 hour car show and had some breakfast, then fed the kids so they could get off to church with the wife. Then I cleaned up the house, vacuumed both downstairs and upstairs, and mopped the floors. I had to clean the walls, as well. Amazing how much of a mess two children can make (I'm sure Sue says "amazing how much of a mess one Tommy can make). Now I'm getting in a work out and I need to take the kids outside later to burn off some energy.

We are expecting snow tonight and tomorrow. Might get up to 6". Unreal.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

SEMI SUNNY AND COLD IN THE NATIONS. THE BUREAUCRATS HAVE STRUCK AGAIN; NOW EVERYONE CAN GET UP BEFORE DAYLIGHT.

MATTHEW, YOU'D LIKE MY SWORDS. I ONLY HAVE TWO OF THE REALLY OLD ONES. (KOTO BLADES) THE REST ARE WW II MILITARY AND EDO ERA. THE KOTO BLADES WERE MADE TO USE AND YOU CAN TELL. WHEN YOU PICK THEM UP THEY SEEM TO COME ALIVE IN YOUR HAND. MOST OF THE LATER ONES DON'T HAVE THAT FEEL, BEING MOSTLY MADE FOR SHOW. CONSPICUOUS CONSUMPTION, NIPONESE VERSION. JAP SWORDS ARE FASCINATING, AS IS JAPANESE HISTORY. IT'S "THE GAME OF THRONES" WITH SLANTY EYES, EXCEPT IT REALLY HAPPENED.

About 1/8" of snow has fallen so far - if it quit now, I would not be upset.

Funny how that works. When young you have to burn off the energy. When older you need a fire under your ass.

Which do you like better? Later sunsets or earlier sunsets?

Should daylight savings time disappear? I'm thinking ditch it.

I'D VOTE FOR THAT. SET NOON AS WHEN THE SUN IS AT IT'S APEX AND JUST LET IT BE.

I agree lets ditch the daylight savings time.

Well I'm here in El Segundo for two weeks for work. The weather is much better than that of Fort Wayne.

The Mrs is with me as we drove out. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I'd love to ditch daylight savings time. Not sure why the backwards people here keep voting for keeping it. Stupid in my opinion.
Not liking March so far, either. Losing and hour hasn't helped and why always on the weekend? Additionally, it went from 76 and summer Thursday to cooler Friday then last night freeze warnings with the biggest snowflakes I've seen in a while. Now, today 24 hours later it's all gone and by the weekend it's supposed to be summer again. Why couldn't it snow during the winter and not in spring? All the stuff that was blooming and sprouting are dead, and I've got three tropical plants I'd really like to get out of the house.

howdee.....Went into church then a bunch of shopping for our rebuilding project. Got a door ordered that was a special size.... and the granite for the countertops picked out..... the showers get Onyx in both of them.....this place is a mess. Wood flooring in the master bedroom and closet and in the Library. My wife is a Joanna Gaines convert and so it goes...... I just nod my head and say yeah I like that......and then think about my Grand Sport....

Need some bad tummy mojo also.......don't know what I got but its not fun....

Looks like the east coast is getting their asses kicked by some nasty weather....... starting to rain here.

gnight Guru's.....

Putting in Onyx in this bath remodel I'm doing Marcus. Are you doing it or hiring it done? they aren't terrible to do. The key is making templates and getting them to fit perfect before cutting on the Onyx.

Back from the 'city' unloaded and put away stuff. Stopped at the HF big parking lot sale, but didn't find anything I couldn't live without. While we we getting out of the truck at HF, a beautiful C6 GS came by. Rosie says, that's a pretty color...yes it was! Carlisle Blue. First one in that color I've seen...it is sweet.

A little late to the party but when I woke up this morning it was 11 degrees... we made it to 23! Spring forward to tomorrow night and there will be 24 inches of snow on the ground. Happy Spring!

Ya those Grand Sports are stunning......especially in Blade Silver.....

I'm up at 2:30 because some dumb truck stop out in Colby Kansas won't take the Fleetone card and won't take my credit card over the phone.....so I am waiting on hold to talk to customer reps for our other CC we have in the truck..... what the hell is the deal with those folks out there........
