Good Morning Gurus!

A bit late this morning. My daycare provider's husband is in the hospital. So I've got our youngest here at home today.

Just as well. Big snow storm yesterday. No Vetting for me.

I didn't have to log in this morning to get on the site! w00t!

Is that an update, or is it my Mac? I almost never post from home anymore...

Anyway, have a super day, Gurus!

Ahhh, it's Thursday, the end of the week, and I have zero meetings scheduled! It should be a nice catch up day in the office since I've been out and about all week. And half of the office is out doing other stuff.

Its a beautiful day in the neibhorhood (achoooo... damnit) here in the greater philly area. 70 and sunny with a nice sneeze, oops, I meant breeze. The Pines in my driveway are just starting to pollenate and the black montecarlo was yellow-green this morn'. Vetting weather for sure, but alas....I'm at work!

I had a big bowl of melon this morning for breakfast - honeydew, cantaloupe, and watermelon. I love it - feels like summer!

Speaking of honeydew, solid-surface panels are sitting in my garage waiting for me to install them in my wife's shower. And the deck needs to be power-washed and painted. And the garden needs to be cleaned out. And the sprinkler system needs to be readied for action. And it never ends.......

We got Swanstone panels:

http://www.swanstone.com/products/showerWallsFloors/

Her shower currently has tile in it - these can install right over the existing tile. I don't think I'd ever put tile up again in a shower - in my shower, the water seeped right through the grout and destroyed the wall.

Those Swanstone panels look cool. Very nice and clean look. Will they be hard to install?

I don't think the install will be hard, except I'll have to do some cutting, since we got panels that go from floor to ceiling.

It's been a while since I have had a chance to chat. I have been up to my neck in programming some menus for a new customer. I hope everyone has been doing well.

I'm taking a little break for lunch and thought I would read a little online for a change.

Looks like we could have a great weekend here. The weather is already in the 70's and the sun is shining.

I've put in panels similar to that. It's not too bad of a job, a little more cutting involved if your walls are out of square. I still prefer tile in the shower, looks better to me. Post some pics when you are done.

How thick are those panels? What 1/4"? What's the recommended method of attaching them to the walls? What do you use in the corners where they meet? What kind of cost are they?

Just full of questions aren't I? :toothy8:
