Back to school for the kiddos!

A monumental week in our house! New daycare, new routines, new clothes and new shoes! This is the first year all three of my kids will be in school.

I've got:

1 High School Senior

1 Fourth Grader

1 PreSchooler

So, does anyone else have kids going back? I can't be the only one, can I?

Are your kids happy to go back, or hating life? I always hated to go back, but my kids love school. My wife is petty beat up over the smallest one going to preschool. Her last little baby is growing up!

I'm totally cool with it, personally.

Just remember... If you're not getting slapped, you're not trying hard enough.

Mine turns 30 this year. It only gets better. Then it gets worse. Now all the school busses get back on the road and back up the traffic from here to Bumfook.

I noticed the elementary/middle school around the corner was a bustling center of excitement today. I was shocked at how early the kids are back. Congrats on getting the house back!

You said it, "The most wonderful time of the year".

My 14 year old will be a freshman this year, not too thrilled going back.

My 7 year old will be starting the 3rd grade, and very happy to go back...he's a real prodigy. He loves to read and learn new languages(loves learning sign language, German, and French, not Spanish which they have to take in school) which he must get from his mother.....loves cool cars, gets that from me.

September 2nd is the happy date. :thumbright:

That's a long time to be living at home. I hope they help with the dishes at least.
