OK, let me take a moment to introduce myself.

No 'vette yet. A mid 70's L82 4 speed is my desire. (Yeah Andy, I know they ride like crap). I like C1/3/5/6, never was a real fan of C2 or 4.

I am a big fan of sprint car racing and have lots of photos to prove it.

High powered rocketry is one of my more "interesting" hobbies.

I've known Bogus for longer than either of us wants to admit, so if you need any "dirt", this is where to look.

I've been lurking around the site for a while now and finally decided to sign up. Look forward to chatting with you guys and gals.

about damned time...

I will warn you all, Ken does NOT eat cheese or drink beer, so that automatically makes his Corvette likes suspect.

And yes, the "dirt" thing goes both ways.

You do have a fellow guru as a neighbour - DaleD is from Cuyahoga Falls. Small world, eh?

Welcome aboard, bud... and CATO's are not aloud here.

Welcome from another fan of sprint car racing. Years ago I used to watch a lot of it up in Ohio. Fremont, Lima-Land, Mansfield, Findlay, McCutcheonville and of course, Eldora.

Thanks for the welcomes. Now to address the questions.

I wish the engine in the avatar was mine. I took that shot at Sebring this past March. It was on display in the Chevrolet tent along with the race 'vette and a bunch of other really nice toys.

I'm not really looking to buy right now. I recently found and drooled all over a '76 with a 383 and a 6 speed. Looked like a lot of fun for $16,995. Once I hit the lottery - look out.

Notorious - last year I managed to catch Sprint cars from Delaware to Oklahoma. Did a lot of traveling with the All Stars, my buddy was their announcer. Eldora isn't any fun any more since they raised the inside fence shooting is rather limited.

In that case, you're in trouble on this website. It's the only way I make it through half the postings.

Aside from that, welcome!

Welcome to the madhouse.

I don't drink cow piss either.

Have you driven a C4? I'm not trying to change your mind... Well, yes I am, actually.

It's not the technology of the C4, I just never cared for the lines of the car. I think Chevrolet could have done better.

I got to drive Andy's just after he got it. Drove it home from a Jimmy Buffett Concert.

And just to stop any speculation, his alcohol consumption was kept to a minimum that night. (They weren't serving Jaegermeister).

Mmmmm.. Jaeger!

Certainly style is a very personal thing. I actually like the C4 because of its looks. I feel they are understated, and that works for me.

Hopefully you can find a car that suits you... For less than sixteen large! Yikes!
