Does anybody have their vette in pieces in the garage and wished it was still stock, or have modded their vette and ended up breaking it and now sits in the driveway? Or tried swapping in a different engine and is now sitting in tall grass in the back yard?

No regrets here!

I make sure everything I do doesn't hurt daily driveability. Also I prioritize the nuisance repairs over mods.

Expensive performance parts aren't going to make your day more enjoyable if the door panel is falling off and rattling and driving you nuts.

I have one stock and one modded. Anything that I screw up I can find somebody to fix it.

Left this one alone for a reason ,learned my lesson on the 67. Wish I never bought either one to be honest.

If you mod it correctly, it should not give you a headache.

I modded 4 out of 7 of mine. Funny, I kept the 2 stock ones.
67, 300 horse, all stock
92, C4, stock except for really loud pipes.

One very stock, one mildly modded. The next one could be either completely stock or significantly modded - we'll see what happens.

I've made my fair share of mistakes....

Luckly the only car that really came out right and was a pleasure to drive was the C4, only reason I got rid of it was because my girlfriend was driving it daily and I wanted to put her in something a little safer. Funny part is neither of us want the responsibility of the new C6.

My Impala on the other hand is way over done... I wish I could put it back to stock... The converter is to small, and too high stall, so although it will give you whiplash at WOT its a bitch to drive locally. The transgo is annoying because every shift is jaring, and I f*ing hate my Goodyear tires... Other than that its ok,

Above all I really regret ever removing the Big Block out of my Chevelle and starting an un-necessary restoration project, but there is a long story attached to that one,.... I was young, and I worked for the wrong guy to make the story short,

Don't feel bad if your finding yourself in that situation; I like to chalk up my f'ups to learing experiences. I won't make these mistakes next time.

Merry Christmas,

Dan
