Good Morning CGs!

Well, it's getting towards the end of the year, can you believe it? Only a couple more days until we ring in the New Year. I've heard it said that the days go by slow but the years go by fast. I'd venture to say that's correct the older I get.

Couldn't figure out what to eat for breakfast this morning so I made a little power shake. Some milk, protein powder, banana, yogurt. Pretty good. I'll probably be hungry again in an hour, but that's how I am. I'm hungry like that after breakfast, too. Little snack and I'm all good.

Watching the news now and there is tons of flooding all over Chicagoland. The rain and melting snow is making the rivers overflow and the ground can't absorb the extra water. Lots of flooded basements. Too bad for them.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Today I am putting away all the holiday stuff. Should take all of 30 minutes. 1 ceramic x-mas tree, one fishing Santa, one menorah, one air filled bear holding a dradle. My wife always tries to get me to decorate the house. I just hate to spend a day putting it up and a day taking it down. If I had little ones running around I would have them up for sure. I'm enjoying the benefits of being an empty nester. Less is more ...........

I'm all done working and my retirement date is Dec. 31. I have to take my wife for for surgery tomorrow morning. I'll be leaving the house around 5:00 AM. She is supposed to be the first surgery. I think she should be home tomorrow night. Most surgeries now are out-patient unless it's severely intrusive. She has to have some benign growths removed from her right breast and correct some of the scar tissue on her left breast from the last go round. She used to be a 42DD. Now she's a 38C. Her words... She is now part of the itty bitty titty committee.

Hope all goes well with Rosie crash .........

Hidey-ho! I'm off all week, just watching the market and enjoying the short commute down the hall. Still pinching myself as the Vikings made the playoffs (my apologies to Chi-town fans).

Good Morning Gurus,

I did a sleep study last night at the local Hospital. I wish they would just give me a machine and dispense with all the testing. I snore like a banshee and its been giving me killing headaches in the morning. The technician said that I was definitly having apnea episodes during the testing last night. Anyone else with this situation and did you see improvements after CPAP machine?

I drove the Vette to work today. This is like the first time its been out on a good long drive since the beginning of November. Man, I love the way that exhaust sounds when the hammer is down.

Any big plans for New Years Eve?

Hey b.g. The machine works. I don't have sleep apnea but I have friends that do. I snore and can shake the walls but breathe O.K. In my case the best resolve is earplugs for the wife. She won't go for it though. She'd rather I have my throat cut........ surgically.

I just got back from having the last of my Christmas presents installed on the vette. I replaced the resonator with a Magnaflow #12469 dual in/dual out muffler, which also has a built in x-pipe. Supposedly it will decrease the resonance in the cabin and the x-pipe can't hurt either.

Nice and warm here today so I guess I will go out and get the leaves out of the rain gutters in a little bit.

I certainly enjoyed watching the Eagles destroy Dallas yesterday. That was great! Sorry TO.

Good Evening Gurus!

Dang, where did my day go? I had to revise an edit, and I also created a bunch of print materials for my own business. Price list, billing process and a sheet on how to prepare your business for a video shoot. Seems simple, but took me all damn day.

Back to it again tomorrow. My basement is a total wreck, and since I live down here now, I need to clean it the hell up.

BLARG!

2009 is gonna be one heck of a year though! I'm pretty excited! w00t!
