Yup, I decided to go ahead and drop less than a G to get another gun. Below are my choices and yes I know AK-47 is broad but I am looking for 7.62 and the long barrel version. So what do you all think? I got a good opinion of what to get already but I do want to know whats on your mind. Thanks!

I'd go dragunov then, Golani would be an absolute must have in 5.56

Don't fret. He's going to install the necessary electronics in his new AK-47 so he can play duckhunt.

Is this for shooting or collecting?
Do you choose 7.62 for the round? Maybe more plentiful?

Why not .308 in bolt action? Very accurate flatter trajectory

I've just never been a fan of 7.62 except ammo is readily available.

Weapons I choose are for athetics/collecting/shooting. Tri-purpose. I am starting to lean tward the SKS and the Lusa. I am not dead set on the 7.62 but it is a nice round for the price.

AR15-flat top receiver- 20" heavy barrel-match trigger-good scope-free floating handguard-buttstock your choice. New will set you back more than a "G" but you'll have something. There's a lot of good used stuff out there.
