A backwards trike?
Is this a more stable configuration?
$17k for a tricycle is big money.
Sort of seems this thing would be like a moped, or a fat chick. Fun to ride, but you wouldn't want anyone to see you doing it.

That is a cool looking toy! I had a similar "design" back in the late 60's. It was a "Cushman" that was used for in-town deliveries. Steering was car type, and not as much power but fun. It would make your butt tighten up a little around a curve, and had a top speed of about 45 mph.

The one I saw was kind of matte black, stealthy - looked like something out of a Batman movie.

I've seen a few of those outside an ATV dealer in my area. Having seen many on the road though. For that money, I think I understand why.

Essentially a Ski-Doo for the summer. These are built by Bombardier, the people that build both Ski Doo and Sea Doo. They look like a bunch of fun.

I would take it for a spin, if it was free, or if my spine was broken in some horrible accident.

You don't need a motorcycle license in most states to ride one, btw.

It doesn't get any respect from most bikers, I think because of the target market. It's basically for people who want to ride, but don't want to learn how. Fine if you just want something to tool around in the countryside in, or if the old lady refuses to get on the back of a 2-wheeler.

Have seen quite a few of them out here. Bastards take up like 3 bike parking spaces.

I saw one in person @ World of Wheels, and your right, I think that's what it's based on.
