I've got a bad u joint in the rear, so I'm going to replace it. Am I supposed to replace all 4 at the same time, or is that not necessary?

If one's shot, so are the others

Better safe

At least do the two on the same subaxle.

Also check you bearing

They're a real PITA to change, now would be the time.

Me too. Just look for it in C4 technical. Don't buy greasable AC Delco.

It is not the fitment but the theory that the hole for the zerk weakens the cross that makes people recommend solid u-joints with no zerk

what kind of grease do you put in the zerk? The ones I ordered came with the zerks and are not greased at first glance.

Cup grease in a tube......you need that squeeze gun and any cup grease (where is the run and hide icon) If you are greasing all the Zirks regularly what you put in is not so critical.

I recommend ujoints with zerks for anyone who doesn't race the car or have added HP.

I bought the Mobil 1 synthetic grease at autozone. Was about $6 or $7 for the big tube. You can use others, but Mobil 1 is good quality.
