Id like to go but it's the whole way across the country. I've been there many, many times since I grew up 20 miles from there.

Contract ended before the show.

Me too!. I will be prepared with the cooler. I bought the weekend fun pass, so I guess I will be parked up the hill behind the show cars, rather than my usual gate 1 spot.
Looking forward to the weekend.

I just saw this post tonight since I have been a loser and not hanging around here much these days, but I will be there from Friday to Sunday. We will have a couple canopies and set up in a vendor spot. If you need some shade or just a place to sit down come by and see us. If I'm not there, someone will be there, just tell them Don said to take a rest.

You can download a map of the grounds with the location of our tents identified at our home page
http://www.corvetteclubofamerica.org

I'd love to hook up with some of you Gurus for a beer and to meet F2F... that goes for Pete K too!!!

I will have my Vette up on the fun field somewhere, just not sure yet.

Hope to see you there.

I'm planning on pulling mine up on the trailer to Harrisburg, with the family and overnighting with a friend.

Plan on driving the vette to Carlisle. Can I just attend the show without buying some expensive passes or what's the strategic way to see the event? I'm not planning on showing my car or anything. This is my first time if you can't tell ;)

Do they do any drag racing there? I thought I heard they had a strip there and do a few fun things. Wonder if tech is very fussy?

I am only aware of them doing the Drag Racing in 1993. It was at Boiling Springs, about 20 minutes from the fairgrounds.
They ran all the body styles, then ran off all the winners in a King of The Hill Race. I raced the track champ in the finals, and came out on top. Couple hundred bucks, and a big ass trophy were on the line, and I grabbed them.
After that, they never did it again.
