Good Morning CGs!

Well, I'm off to a late start, this morning, huh? I lost track of time and slept in, but it's ok because I took today off. Sucks to be you but I'm alright

Well, I'm gonna call the airline again today. Remember the horrible customer service experience I've had with Continental? Well, my wife isn't going to NY this weekend with me, so I'm gonna see if I can get the ticket changed into her brother's name. Probably won't happen without a price ($$$) but oh well. We'll see.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Dealing with the airlines nowadays is quite an experience. Basically you have to know what you want, when you want it. Changes or additions create Book flights as soon as you can to get the earlybird pricing. Like, book now for the holidays. It ain't gonna get any better. Expect lines, smug TSA personnel, busy flight attendants and don't forget to pick up a snack for the ride once you clear security. Once your on the plane all you have to deal with is crying kids and drunken revelers. Have a great flight.

Busy weekend at a Green tradeshow. Highlight both days were the Heat Dancers. Although Sunday I did catch a glimpse of a fine diva dressed in white from head to toe all the way down to her g-string underwear. Her large voluptious ......Nevermind ... That's a whole other story ..... :chissle:

Good luck with the ticket, Matt - a friend of my son's tried to do the same thing when he had to cancel out of a trip to Mexico this spring, and no joy.

After 2 weeks of working 2 days, this week is gonna suck

Good Morning Gurus!

Another wortless weekend. I think I left the house once. Helped the kids clean up my younger son's room and washed all the bedding. I'm still a bit high from the excitement. Could be the OxyClean...

My cable/interweb went out last night. Still out this morning, so I went out to check the wire. Sure enough my stupid horse-puppies chewed it again... Anybody want some stupid horse-puppies?

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Well, got off the phone with the airline. No dice on simply changing the passenger name so my BIL could go with me. That's stupid. Everything stays the same except the butt filling the seat. I did, however, get the ticket credit for my wife so we can use it again within a year. A small victory. Unfortunately that means I have to fly continental again within a year, which I said I'd never do again....ugh.

Airlines suck. I wonder if their ticket policies will be under the microscope as "The Passenger Bill of Rights" gains momentum.

Volzfan, that is one beautiful car you got to drive! Color me jealous.

Good morning! Everyone feeling OK?
I had some plans today until I looked at the pool this morning. Looks like some patches of algae on the bottom! Not what I wanted to see!! So, off to the pool supply store to pizz away some more money for something that's hardly used.
Need to stop by Harbor Freight and get a "pencil" type solder iron. Thinking of trying one more time to fix a circuit board in a wiper motor on my Firebird. The delay funtion stopped working several years ago, could be a cold solder joint.

Have a good day
Joel

I'm back at school today...I was looking forward to it, but it's nothing but bad news, thank God this is my last one. May can't get here fast enough. Retirement in June, then I guess I'll have to get e real job for a few years.

Good morning, Gurus!

Sounds like everyone's had quite the adventure already. I'm looking forward to another mellow week where I can churn out work w/o much interruption.

Except, my grandma died over the weekend and her funeral is this week. I don't know if I'll be able to go. I was hoping to fly up and back in the same day, but can't seem to find a direct flight (all the others have a stop and that gets me in too late). She had been very ill these last few months, and I'm glad her suffering is over and she can be at peace.

Thanks, guys.

She was a sweet old lady. My grandfather died many years ago, so I have visions of them finally back together again.

Ever put something together and realize you forgot to place a key component? ... Then there is undulation.

I can hardly wait till our economic recovery is through with it's undulation.
